Kirsten Gillibrand: White Privilege Keeps Whites From ‘Being Shot’

Democrat presidential hopeful Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand launched into a rant on white privilege during the Democrat presidential primary debate in Detroit, Michigan last night.
She says she could “explain†what white privilege is to women who voted for President Trump: “I can talk to those white women in the suburbs that voted for Trump and explain to them what white privilege actually is. When their son is walking down a street with a bag of M&M’s in his pocket, wearing a hoodie, his whiteness is what protects him from not being shot. When their child has a car that breaks down and he knocks on someone’s door for help and the door opens and help is given, it’s his whiteness that protects him from not being shot. That is what white privilege is today.â€
She’s just ridiculous, the white privilege nonsense is code for I am desperate.

The WashPost compiles data regarding police shootings from annual FBI data, and IIRC, has since 2015. The facts don't fit the Prog narrative, so they don't make a big deal of it. But the facts contradict Gillibrand's claim. Unsurprisingly.

It is, I guess, a bit surreal to see a scrawny paleface like Gillibrand seeking to incite a race war.
But I guess that counts as a solid in the modern Democratic party.
