Is Israel Guilty of Genocide?
By Col. Lawrence Franklin (Ret.), Al Bienenfeld

Israel’s enemies are charging the world’s only Jewish nation with committing genocide. This is a lie.

Genocide as a word and internationally accepted concept did not exist before 1944. It was specifically created to describe how the Nazis sought to eliminate the entirety of the Jewish population in Europe. Resting on that singular historical example, the United Nations Office to Prevent Genocide defines this crime as any acts committed with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group.

This narrow definition under international law consists of two principal prerequisites: intent and a specific group’s physical destruction. This was certainly the case when Hitler almost entirely exterminated European Jewry and when the Hutu government massacred Rwanda’s Tutsi population in 1994.

Currently, there are politically motivated and rhetorically irresponsible charges of genocide leveled at Israel. These disingenuous accusations are a weapon of war that terrorist groups such as Hamas and its allies are using to achieve strategic political victory in the struggle for universal information dominance. Israel’s actions in Gaza were a response to Hamas’s October 7. 2023 assault against a mostly defenseless civilian population. Consequently, it seems incongruent that anyone is granting credibility to these anti-Israel charges of genocide rather than seeing them as pure antisemitism.

Biden’s Fentanyl Deal With China Failed To Stop Overdoses

Last November, Biden met with China’s Xi and the two leaders reached an agreement to tackle the fentanyl crisis fed by the traffic in precursor chemicals from the Communist dictatorship.

Three months later, the bodies are everywhere.

Fentanyl overdoses rose fourfold in Marin County in just 2 weeks, Oregon has the largest overdose rates in the nation and even children under 5 are dying of it in Tennessee.

And there’s no sign that the carnage is slowing down. 66 people died of drug overdoses in San Francisco in just the month of January. The majority of those deaths were fentanyl related.

Biden claimed after the meeting with Xi that China is “taking steps to shut down companies dealing in illicit trade and precursor chemicals.”

But officially what China did was send out warning letters to the firms shipping precursor chemicals to the cartels. Rather than warning Chinese companies that they faced action from their own government, the letters cautioned them that they faced legal action from America.

The companies making the poison killing Americans then had every reason to laugh it off.

99% of headline writers should be taken out and shot.

That language in quotes, "No one in New York Likes Trump"?  It isn't in the actual article.  It's a paraphrase.  In quotes.

Climate Change: A Natural Hazard – A Note from Bill Kininmonth
May 2, 2024 By jennifer

There has been a lot in the press about the recent spike in global temperatures, and claims have followed about how this has caused the oceans to warm and the corals to bleach.

There has been a spike in global temperatures as measured by the satellites since 1979, and there remains much regional and seasonal variability in this data.  Furthermore, the same satellite data very clearly shows that the warmth is coming from the oceans, not from the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

The Australian Bureau Meteorology, among others, could easily issue a press release clarifying this.  Of course, they don’t – because the Bureau’s leadership have an agenda, that this misinformation supports.

My friend Bill Kininmonth is a former Bureau employee – for more than a decade he headed Australia’s National Climate Centre and was a Bureau delegate to the Second World Climate Conference that culminated in the first IPCC report.

Philippines will invoke its defense treaty with the U.S. if a Filipino soldier is killed
FEATUREDWIB LANDWIB POLITICS April 15, 2024 Staff Writer

The Philippines will invoke its defense treaty with the U.S. if a Filipino soldier dies from a foreign attack, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said, in remarks that come amid growing tensions with China.

“I think Secretary Austin explained it very well, if any Filipino serviceman is killed by an attack from any foreign power, then that is time to invoke the Mutual Defense Treaty,” Marcos told foreign correspondents in Manila on Monday, referring to his conversation with U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin last week at the Pentagon.

Marcos’s comments come in the aftermath of a joint summit with President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in Washington last week. They offer clarity on the circumstances that may draw in the U.S. — a treaty ally of the Philippines — as tensions between Manila and Beijing ratchet up over the disputed South China Sea.

Trump thought 'Access Hollywood' tape was 'pretty standard stuff' guys talked about: Hicks
By Kyle Schnitzer

Hope Hicks testified that Donald Trump thought his comments with Billy Bush in the "Access Hollywood" tape were "pretty standard stuff for two guys chatting with each other."

“I know Mr. Trump felt this wasn’t good," Hicks said, recalling the moment Trump learned about the tape.

She said Trump called it "just two guys talking privately, locker room talk."

"It wasn’t something to get so upset over. He certainly didn’t," Hicks told prosecutors.

She later added, “He felt this was pretty standard stuff for two guys chatting with each other.”

Hicks recalled how she was a "little stunned" about the video that she knew was concerning and would "dominate the news cycle" the next several days.

"Obviously it wasn’t helpful, but there were a lot of layers to it that complicated where we were trying to go with the campaign," Hicks testified about the video, saying it was a "damaging development."

"This was pulling us backwards.”
