This is why sexual harassment is not a joke, and I think conservatives need to face up to the deleterious effects of allowing that kind of crap to happen.
I think we have a serious problem on the right, both with sexism and racism. In the efforts of some to fight against the excesses of the left and exaggeration of the problem, there is a denial that either problem exists, and a refusal to do anything about it.
If you say anything about very real sexism and harassment, you are labeled a "feminist" (as if there was never a need to fight for the right to vote, or for acceptance into med school, or to be free from being harassed by male superiors on the job), and your opinion is dismissed.
There actually IS sexism and there actually IS racism, and we on the right had better deal with it head on truthfully (as opposed to the false political agenda coming from the left).
The idea that women who are harassed by men like O'Reilly, Ailes and Trump should just quit their jobs is absurd on its face.
Sarah's got some 'splainin to do......

During the campaign Team Trump was basically saying sexual harassment was manly and women who couldn't hack it should stay at home.

When it happened to me, I just ignored it or pretended to be stupid. I have (literally) been around gay men all my life and I got very good at deflecting.
There is a difference between a manager telling my wife she better put out if she wants to get ahead in her job and a guy who tells off-color jokes or compliments women on their looks. Note: The former was threatened with death.

You missed the part where the manager would not be here today if they did that. Imagine if a man pulled you into a room and made that offer. Talk to me about how much you would be accommodating.

She did! If she had looked and behaved in 2008 like she does now, I might not have even voted for McCain (she's pretty much the reason I did....... silly me!).

One of Palin's first interviews, the disaster one with Katy Curic, was really her. I made a mistake thinking that interview was not the real her. I should have known better. She appeared "dumb", not able to think well to make a reasonable response. The "I can see Russia from my house!", and not being able to think of a book she has read, other strange responses, were the real her. Over time, she got worse. Now, she appears to be on some kind of drug, either alcohol, or something else, as she is bizarre in her responses and in her dress.

My dad was more into Ian Fleming and Robert Ludlum paperbacks...than paying attention to us turning into adults.
But none of us were ever arrested. So there's that. :laugh:
