Remember when Hurr released a report saying that Biden was senile during an interview?
Remember when the White House said it was misinformation & the media played along?
The White House just blocked the audio.

Biden invokes executive privilege to prevent release of recording with Special Counsel Hur
The Justice Department's Legal Counsel Office said the recording should be considered protected by executive privilege

President Joe Biden on Thursday claimed the recording of his interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur about his retention of classified documents should not be released due to executive privilege just hours before House Republicans were set to move toward holding Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress for not releasing the recordings.

The Justice Department's Legal Counsel Office said the recording should be considered protected by executive privilege, and Garland should not be punished for not releasing it, Associate Attorney General Carlos Uriatre said. ...

"It is the longstanding position of the executive branch held by administrations of both parties that an official who asserts the president’s claim of executive privilege cannot be held in contempt of Congress," he also wrote, per the Associated Press. ...

First on Fox: Massive donation to Trump from Jewish org amid anti-Israel campus protests

A top grassroots group that represents Jewish Republicans across the country is showcasing what it calls its largest ever fundraising and expenditure effort in support of a GOP presidential nominee.

The Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC), in an announcement shared first with Fox News on Thursday, highlighted that it is committed to raising a minimum of $5 million - from its donors and from its RJC Victory Fund super PAC - to help elect former President Trump in his November White House rematch with President Biden.

RJC national political director Sam Markstein highlighted that this "will be the RJC's largest effort ever to mobilize support in the Jewish community for President Trump."

Additionally, Markstein noted that the announcement is "in addition to our $15 million independent expenditure," which he characterized as the largest independent expenditure in the organization's history.

The announcement comes amid weeks of anti-Israel protests that have erupted on college campuses across the country over Israel's war with Hamas in Gaza.

The protests in support of Palestinians have grabbed plenty of attention on cable news and online coverage. Demonstrators have criticized President Biden's support for Israel in its battle with Hamas and have called on colleges and universities to cut financial ties with the government in Jerusalem.

Polls suggest that while many Democrats are divided over the demonstrations, Republicans are nearly entirely united in opposition................

There is no evidence that Biden is involved in this prosecution.

With Joe's dementia he only remember Beau.  The son who was killed by a sniper in Kuwait.
I suspect that Joe's obsession with and glorification of Beau is a large part of why Hunter - the second-best son, by a large margin - fell into his many vices, from drug abuse to pedophilia to adultery. Daddy never really loved him, despite the creepy photos of them in each other's arms.

Trump slams 'sham' 'hush money' case: 'Biden's office is running the trial'
By David Spector

Former President Donald Trump slammed the conditions of his "hush money" trial in early morning remarks before proceedings were to begin.

"Outside it's like Fort Knox," Trump said, lamenting the immense security surrounding his trial.

"A lead person from the DOJ is running the trial, so Biden's office is running the trial," raged the former president.

Trump resumed slamming the judge in his case as "conflicted" and cited legal scholars such as Alan Dershowitz to support his view that there's "no case."

"This trial is a scam and a sham and it shouldn't happen," Trump said.

The Manhattan District Attorney's Office is a state office and does not answer to President Biden.

One of the prosecutors on the case, Matthew Colangelo, was a high-ranking DOJ official, but he also worked with Bragg earlier at the New York Attorney General's Office.

There is no evidence that Biden is involved in this prosecution.

America’s Nuclear Zeitenwende

U.S. Air Force

Overshadowed by Hamas’s attack on Israel, the release of the congressionally mandated Strategic Posture Commission (SPC) report heralded the arrival of an American nuclear Zeitenwende – a sea change setting us on a new course. By issuing consensus recommendations for significant changes to the size and composition of the deployed nuclear forces of the United States, the bi-partisan members of the SPC signaled that we have crossed the Rubicon from the post-Cold war nuclear order to the terra incognita of two peer nuclear adversaries’ intent on brandishing their growing nuclear weapons capabilities to overthrow the rules-based international order.  The SPC commissioners warn that this “new global environment is fundamentally different than anything experienced in the past,” constituting “an existential challenge for which the United States is ill prepared, unless its leaders make decisions now to adjust the U.S. strategic posture.”

It would be difficult to exaggerate the extent to which the SPC’s consensus conclusions have reoriented the nuclear debate, shifting the focus away from how to reduce the role of nuclear weapons in U.S. strategy and towards a focus on how to reduce the role of nuclear weapons in the strategies of our adversaries (by building a nuclear posture that will credibly deter them). In doing so on a bi-partisan basis and by articulating comprehensive recommendations to address “this unprecedented two peer threat,” the SPC commissioners can legitimately lay claim to having produced the most important national security document of the post-Cold war era.

Nevertheless, the SPC’s recommendations have not received the widespread, public attention that they urgently require. This inattention needs to be quickly remedied, lest we fail to garner the essential public support necessary to ensure the United States creates a strategic posture capable of preventing great power military conflict.
