GOP leaders split over 'compromise' immigration bill

The draft legislation includes a path to citizenship for an estimated 1.8 million young immigrants in the US illegally, rankling GOP supporters of President Trump. The plan also includes $25 billion for a border wall and a provision to keep families together as long as they are in the custody of the Homeland Security Department.

Schumer has said no Democrats will vote for this bill.  They want Feinsteins bill.  Her bill makes it illegal to arrest an illegal immigrant within 100 miles of the border

Wait, what?   1.8 million???   Just last week we were talking less than half of that.

Next thing you know someone will claim the 30 year old "11 million" number of illegals is out of date as well!
