Let's ask the forum, am I wrong?

@DCPatriot DCP was seemingly ignorant of the strongly supported allegations and testimony that Epstein was involved in abusing prepubescent
children. To me the fact that the various statements say 'children' and not just 'girls' means to me that at least some boys were victimized as well.
DCP also provoked this comment and my own by dismissing the crimes against 15-17 year old girls because they were lured in by a lifestyle that was otherwise out of reach to them. This is called
grooming and it is a technique employed by sexual predators.
DCP's assignment of blame to the girls also hit home for me as someone who was raped at sixteen by my father and then had
my mother angry at me because I called the police and he went to prison where I am grateful that he died.
I'll save the long story but I got through my trauma and came out of it stronger and angrier. I am not always angry but I can go from zero to nuclear in a split second. It leaves a mark.
To so cavalierly dismiss what happened to these girls at the hands of a master predator makes me angry. Very angry.
Whether the victims were ten or seventeen the criminal and the crime are the same. Epstein's assaults are not lessened because some of his victims were fifteen to seventeen and they may have gone with him willingly. That son of a bitch knew what he was doing and so did his clients like Bill Clinton.
I will give DCP the benefit of the doubt because he did not know about the elementary school age victims. But I am afraid that DCP must own his dismissal of the older victims. Blaming victims for their sexual abuse and exploitation should be a thing of the past. It is the abusers who must bear the responsibility for their actions.
