Pelosi is 'very confident' Democrats will win the House in 2022 despite slim majority
Even the DCCC projects that Democrats would lose the majority if elections were held today

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi predicted Friday that Democrats will retain control of the House in 2022 despite projections of a GOP takeover.
"I'm very confident that we will win the House," Pelosi said Friday during her weekly Capitol news conference.
Pelosi's comments came in response to reports that even the Democrats' campaign chief warned that if elections were held now, Republicans would win back the House.
Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, the chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), told a closed-door lunch last week that the party needs to course-correct ahead of 2022 to better promote President Biden's agenda or else they'll lose, Politico reported.
Pelosi has the slimmest of majorities right now with 220 Democrats to 212 Republicans and three vacancies. Republicans are bullish about winning back the House, and they have history on their side.
The party in power in the White House traditionally loses seats in Congress during the first midterm election. Former President Barack Obama famously suffered a self-described "shellacking" in 2010 after Republicans won in a landslide midterm election and retook the House just two years after his historic White House win.

Throw in the confidence of deep Staters infiltrating every facet of our government, and the success in openly overthrowing and elections and getting away with it. She's led the party for quite some time and though Nancy has seen better days and obviously has some bouts of senility, she knows her job well; it's what she has done for years. She of course is going to announce she's confident; she always has been.

There it is,and THAT is why we need to start electing outsiders,like Trump. If we keep electing the same old pols over and over,all we will get is more of the same screwing we have been getting.
What we NEED in order to survive as a free nation is more outsiders with attitudes holding elected offices.

If everyone understood the current setup then maybe people would start looking for something different. But as long as everyone is focused on Rs and Ds we'll go no where but left.

History favors Republicans. Biden is down to +4.2% in net job approval and sinking. George W's house majority was similar going into the 2002 election. His party managed to pick up a few seats, but his net approval was +33%. Biden is closer to Clinton and Obama, who were slightly underwater in 1994 in 2010.

We will have to see if after 2022 if the losses force the Biden administration to change course and edge more towards the middle or continue following disastrous left-wing policies. The 1994 election gave Bill Clinton a path to steer towards the middle
