There isn't enough spinal mass in the entire US congress to get this passed. **nononono*

It needs to be done, however, IMHO there are likely members of the Muslim Brotherhood seated in Congress. So you are correct, good luck getting this passed. He tried back in 2017.

Gee, remember years ago when Michelle Bachman was called a nut case because she was sounding the alarm that the Muslim Brotherhood could possibly be infiltrating the U.S., including our Congress?  Good ole McCain was a party to dismissing her claims. She was absolutely right.

About freaking time.

Those bastards are stirring up trouble in Canada too, with their subtle sponsoring & helping of the hate-rallies.

Btw, CAIR is one of the Muslim Brotherhood's branches.

* Maybe with some backing from Pres. Trump, this bill will finally get passed.

Cruz Introduces Bill To Name Muslim Brotherhood A Terrorist Group

Texas GOP Senator Ted Cruz is set to introduce a Senate bill on Tuesday that would formally designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.

The Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2025, which follows repeated attempts to name the group a terrorist organization, differs from previous versions as it calls for a “bottom-up” approach, The Washington Free Beacon reported.

According to a fact sheet provided by Cruz’s office, the previous attempts failed because “not all Muslim Brotherhood branches are currently violent and wouldn’t therefore meet the criteria for designation.” Bahrain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates already designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.

The bill urges Secretary of State Marco Rubio to “catalog Muslim Brotherhood branches that are designated as terrorist groups and designate additional ones that meet relevant criteria—and mandates the designation of the global Muslim Brotherhood for its support to those terrorist groups.”

If anyone does want to pay me, I only accept gold bars, like Senator Menendez.  Payment in full, up front.  I'm not running a charity here.

Making PJM all wind and solar would cost over $2.4 trillion in battery backup

I keep reading how big batteries are all it takes to make wind and solar reliable as the sole grid electricity source. The reality is that making wind and solar work at all requires a fantastic amount of battery backup, far more than is possible.

Below is an example using the PJM grid. PJM is America’s biggest grid operator, with a territory covering the Mid-Atlantic and points west. Their territory includes the Washington, DC metro area, where all the federal bigwigs live, making it a good place to start. I also live there.

We are quantifying a fantasy, so let’s keep it very simple. In fact, the basic question is why hasn’t PJM done this simple analysis? They do a lot of sophisticated grid modeling. Or maybe they have done this crucial assessment, but it is a secret, which is even worse.

Consider a single day in a typical peak demand summer heatwave. The heatwave is due to a stagnant high-pressure system called a Bermuda high, so there is not enough wind to generate usable wind power, no matter how much generating capacity is available.

Our side believes in justice and accountability?  That's almost laughable.  Certainly Bondi isn't pushing for accountability or justice, and on this issue neither is Trump and then we have some GOP Senators who have voted against justice and accountability as well.

No of course we don't have all the facts.  That 'list' would have helped and doubtful now that's going to ever happen.

This has turned into nothing more than a black mark against the GOP that the DEMS will fully use.
