As Norvic Philatelics discovered, Photobucket changed its terms and conditions and removed the 3rd Party Hosting feature from the lower subscription tiers. If you want to continue using that feature then a Photobucket Plus 500 subscription is required. It costs $39.99 per month or $399 per year.

Yeah I lost a lot of photos there that I can't move unless I pay. Fortunately most of my family photos are stored elsewhere....

This is one more example of why one should NEVER trust "the cloud".
Nothing is better than a "backup you can touch" -- along with another physical backup stored off-site.

No..you can't move them....luckily most are gifs and such but I did put a lot of family photos there which I have at another place too.

That's awful. They should have at least given folks a 'heads-up' so they could retrieve their photos before they switched over to a paid service.

I never read their service agreement but that sucks in any case. Surely NOT a good way to win friends and develop customers IMHO.
