But for a steak purchased at the grocery store, freezing it ruins the taste for me. Same goes for those vendors who deliver steaks to your door (e.g. Omaha). They freeze the steaks, so they taste like crap. But I get what you're saying about the Great White North.
And BTW... Little known fact.... Most meat is frozen to butcher it. It cuts way better that way.
