Some Mueller team members say obstruction evidence was more 'acute' than what Barr suggested: report
By Justin Wise - 04/04/19 09:42 AM EDT

Some members of special counsel Robert Mueller's team have reportedly complained that the evidence they uncovered of obstruction of justice during their investigation was stronger than what Attorney General William Barr suggested.

The Washington Post, citing unidentified sources, reported on Thursday that members of Mueller's team have voiced frustration about how Barr portrayed their investigation in his four-page summary to Congress.

According to the Post, the team members said that they gathered "alarming and significant" evidence when investigating whether President Trump committed obstruction of justice.

“It was much more acute than Barr suggested,” one source told the newspaper.

If they really believe it, they would go in front of a camera and say it, not hide behind anonymous sources.

The New York Times had no legitimate sources, which would be totally illegal, concerning the Mueller Report. In fact, they probably had no sources at all! They are a Fake News paper who have already been forced to apologize for their incorrect and very bad reporting on me!

A senior law enforcement official tells NBC News that some Mueller team members say his findings paint a picture of a campaign whose members were manipulated by a sophisticated Russian intelligence operation. Some of that information may be classified.

Some on Mueller team say evidence against Trump stronger than Barr disclosed
Three officials say a dispute within Mueller's office was a reason why he didn't make a call on the question of whether Trump obstructed justice.

The one thing Trump wasn't able to do is influence that whole thing, despite the media trumpeting for years that Mueller's firing was perpetually imminent.

This is all coming from the WaPo and NYT...so it all could be fake news

Trump lashes out at New York Times for Mueller reporting
By Jordan Fabian - 04/04/19 11:15 AM EDT

President Trump on Thursday lashed out at The New York Times for reporting  that members of special counsel Robert Mueller’s team have concerns with Attorney General William Barr's summary of its report on the Russia investigation.

“The New York Times had no legitimate sources, which would be totally illegal, concerning the Mueller Report. In fact, they probably had no sources at all! They are a Fake News paper who have already been forced to apologize for their incorrect and very bad reporting on me!” Trump tweeted.

NYT, Washington Post: Some Mueller investigators say their report is worse for Trump than Barr says
By Kate Sullivan and Veronica Stracqualursi, CNN

(CNN)Some of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigators have told associates that Attorney General William Barr did not properly convey how damaging their findings were for President Donald Trump, The New York Times and The Washington Post reported.

The investigators said Barr, in his memo to Congress, did not adequately portray the results of their nearly two-year investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, the Times reported Wednesday, according to government officials and others familiar with their frustrations. Investigators have concerns that Barr was able to shape the public's initial views of their report with his memo and now, without the report being made public, they are set in that narrative, according to the Times.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/03/politics/mueller-investigators-report-worse-for-trump/index.html (https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/03/politics/mueller-investigators-report-worse-for-trump/index.html)

First, these are again anonymous sources. And in the past, every time the NYT or WaPo used anonymous sources they got it wrong.

Second, the press conveniently omit the fact that Attorney General Barr’s summary letter to the Judiciary Committee chairmen was written with Robert Mueller and Assistant Attorney General Rod Rosenstein sitting by his side the entire time. Obviously the letter would accurately reflect Mueller’s findings or Mueller would have said something publicly.

Third, regarding those “others familiar with their frustrations,” do the names Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, James Comey and Andrew McCabe sound familiar? I think we know who’s feeding stories to the New York Times.
