Federal Prosecutor Opens Excessive Force Investigation Into the Death of Ashli Babbitt: Report

Michael Sherwin, acting U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, said that his office has started a federal, excessive force investigation over the shooting and killing of former U.S. Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt in the Capitol on Jan. 6.
Sherwin confirmed the investigation with CBS News.
His civil rights section will lead the prosecution, which is being investigated by D.C. police and the FBI.
The Epoch Times hasn’t been able to independently verify the investigation.
Brian Hudak, Acting Civil Chief of the U.S. Attorney Office of District of Columbia, the FBI, and The U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) didn’t respond to a request for comment.

There must be some reason for the ID of the LEO in this case to be withheld. The authorities & media have never been reticent to do so in the past.

Personally, the word I would use is assassination. Lay in wait, take a step forward to cut the already small distance even more and aim point blankfor the head of a unarmed non violent person and all conveniently directly in front of a Antifa camerman. Oh it was pre meditated murder but carried out in the manner of a assassination. If it was my daughter the gunman would not long enjoylife after his release by the fascists in charge.

The fact that it was a head shot pretty much seals the deal. He had to raise his weapon fairly high to hit the head rather than take a body shot.

Yes, because all that he could see, what a small head in a little window, that had a small section broken out.
There is a video of a male antra/blm guy jumping through a torn out window frame and they want to claim that was she. NOT.

If anyone was wondering what DC thinks of average Americans, those not belonging to a preferred group, demanding their voices be heard this one incidence answers that question.
