She did promise that 2014 would be the “year of the baby.”
Chelsea Clinton, 34, announced at an event in DC for her mother Hilary Clinton today that she’s pregnant with her first child.
“I just hope that I will be as good a mom to my child and hopefully children as my mom was to me,” the former first daughter and only child of the former Secretary of State.
Hillary chimed in that she’s “really excited,” for her first grandchild.

The Clintons had a busy night of celebrations after Chelsea announced she and husband Marc Mezvinsky are expecting a baby.
Bill joined “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey at the Revlon Rainforest Fund Benefit Concert at Carnegie Hall Thursday, joking of Spacey’s Machiavellian character, “When I was president people accused me of murder all the time, made a show of investigating. Spacey’s president for 15 minutes and he gets away with murder.”
Spacey, who sang during the event with Sting, Stephen Stills and James Taylor, also showed off his Johnny Carson impression, taking a swipe at the coverage of Flight 370: “Breaking news. If you have not been home watching CNN in the last four seconds, they have not found the Malaysian plane. They have found Amelia Earhart, though, and Jimmy Hoffa.”
Clinton later joined his daughter — who showed off a tiny baby bump — for a Tribeca Film Festival screening for “Of Many,” which she produced.
Hillary appeared with Chelsea at the after-party. The Clintons ended the night at ABC Kitchen.

Hillary -- who has spent her career promoting and funding abortions for the underprivileged so that they will have no grandchildren -- chimed in that she’s “really excited,” for her first grandchild.
(Presumably, she is really excited her grandchild's brain hasn't been punctured with a needle, even as she holds a gun to my head to pay for other people's grandchildren to have their brains punctured.)

Chelsea Clinton Debuts Her Adorable Baby Bump

... Now, she's been out and about with a tiny baby bump, looking very happy and glow-y. She kept it low-key at the first few appearances, like this Riverkeeper charity event on April 29 where she chose a high-waisted black skirt and flowy white top to keep things visually streamlined.
