I have been watching old episodes of Night Gallery on You Tube. They're really good albeit a little scary. I think I like the Twilight Zone better

Fuzzy Rape
MeToo is not about liberating women from sexual patriarchy.

Quote
The MeToo movement no longer holds the authority which it did in 2017. Why is this? Surely rape and sexual assault are perennially horrifying to most people in the civilized West. I believe that there have been too many accusations of “fuzzy rape,” both in the media and on the ground, for the movement to retain its grip on the zeitgeist.

By “fuzzy rape” I mean sex that wasn’t coercive, but which made the female party feel violated. Fuzzy rape describes a clash of perspectives: that of the woman who feels wronged, often only after the fact, and that of the man who may have been pushy, but had no intention of raping a woman. That is, fuzzy rape does not describe actual rape. ...

A glaring but unspoken paradox in the MeToo movement is that most of the attention is given to fuzzy rape cases while less glamorous stories, like those of women in Muslim communities (both here and abroad) who are coerced into marriage, groomed from a young age to be with much older men, or forced to work in brothels, are ignored. These sexual violations take place behind closed doors, and the violated women have no power to speak out; but there is too much evidence of women’s sexual exploitation at the hands of Islamic culture for feminists to justifiably turn away. ...

I have written about the feminist aversion to discussing how Islam violates women’s dignity and rights. This is made doubly ironic in the light of the outrage prompted by accounts of fuzzy rape. If the alleged crime of Aziz Ansari was enough to whip up a MeToo frenzy, surely cases of utterly unequivocal rape, which accompany the suppression of female agency in much of the Muslim world, should cause world-ending outrage. But they don’t. They don’t fit the narrative that sexism is bound up in white male privilege. ...

Finally, in the aftermath of the October 7 attacks it became apparent that horrific sexual violence was used as a tool against Israeli girls and women. Women were not only gang raped but had sharp objects shoved in to them, or shot between the legs. None of this seems to have merited any attention from the MeToo crowd.

This tells me that, at its heart, MeToo is not about liberating women from the confines of sexual patriarchy. ...

Joe Biden Calls Illegal Aliens ‘Model Citizens’ While Promoting Amnesty

by JOHN BINDER 7 May 2024

President Joe Biden declared illegal aliens, enrolled and eligible for former President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), “model citizens” during a Cinco de Mayo event at the White House.

After opening Obamacare rolls to DACA illegal aliens, Biden said his ultimate goal is to offer amnesty to not only those enrolled in DACA but also those eligible for the Obama-era program.

Under such a plan, millions of illegal aliens would secure green cards and, eventually, naturalized American citizenship. Biden justified the policy by calling DACA illegal aliens “model citizens,” akin to Americans.

“The first bill I introduced was about DACA, to make sure that they have a … direct path to citizenship … we created [DACA] 12 years ago,” Biden said:

Biden Overwhelms Immigration Courts with Over 3.5 Million Cases Pending

by JOHN BINDER 7 May 2024

The nation’s immigration court backlog, where judges decide whether migrants can remain in the United States or face deportation, now exceeds more than 3.5 million cases under President Joe Biden.

The data comes from the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University, detailing a massive uptick in the number of immigration cases now pending as Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) releases into the U.S. interior tens of thousands of migrants every few weeks.

“At the end of March 2024, 3,524,051 active cases were pending before the Immigration Court,” TRAC’s Austin Kocher writes.

By the end of last year, as Breitbart News reported, the immigration court backlog had topped three million, TRAC noted:

Joe Biden’s Obamacare for DACA Illegal Aliens to Cost Americans $300 Million Annually

President Joe Biden’s decision to open Obamacare enrollment to illegal aliens with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) will cost Americans about $300 million annually.

On Friday, Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued a final rule to open Obamacare to DACA illegal aliens.

Obama first created the DACA program via executive order, shielding more than one million illegal aliens from deportation through the years.

According to federal regulators, an estimated 100,000 DACA illegal aliens are expected to enroll in Obamacare, costing American taxpayers about $300 million every year.
