Dutch photographer and digital artist Bas Uterwijk shines a light on what iconic figures from history might have looked like in real life. By using various digital manipulation tools, he is able to create photorealistic portraits of famous artists, leaders, mummies, philosophical thinkers, and even the models of paintings.
Based in Amsterdam, Uterwijk has a background in computer graphics, 3D animation, and special effects. He uses a well-known image of each subject to transform them into a photographic portrait.
A Teaser ..

Yeah, I had to do a double-take. Ken was one of a kind, beloved here and TOS as EveningStar. He had what it takes. I'm glad he 's back with his beloved bride.

What matters is how they would react/what they would say; not how they look.
Another ridiculous post.

Thank you, Conversation Police. *****rollingeyes*****
Look, we all know anything with "Artist Recreates" in the title is clickbait, but this is a discussion forum, and every so often some silliness is worth having.

Nothing at all ridiculous about the post. Many of us are interested in history.

Talk about "ridiculous posts!"
I get it!
If it isn't about politics, the subject isn't worth posting .. unless or until 'someone' turns it into an angry, debatable, political one!
Sorry my friend.
Sometimes folks want to take a break from all the political turmoil and enjoy the beautiful things in life!

Fair enough; so I withdraw my comment.
