The guy was shot in front of his family, apparently. Police had ordered him to stop what he was doing - don't know whether they intended to question him, arrest him on outstanding warrants or what. Instead, he reached into his car, apparently for a weapon. Police then ventilated him.

He is an unqualified disaster. He only beat Scott Walker by about one percentage point a few years ago. If Walker was still gov., none of this rioting/destruction would be tolerated.

Whoever is issuing statements on his behalf either didn't see the video or is wilfully ignorant. The guy was walking away from cops instead of stopping and putting his hands up, as directed. Keep in mind this guy had multiple active warrants for his arrest.
He dove into his car as if to retrieve something, which the cops reasonably believed was a weapon. They proceeded to shoot at him. Maybe one bullet would have done the trick, but they had no way of knowing whether he was high on something and could withstand gunshots.

I read somewhere that he had already been tazed with no effect.....indicating that he was probably high on drugs (the usual). If he had pulled out a gun and shot either or both of the officers, that would have been on them for hesitating. Thankfully, that didn't happen.

After an officer-involved shooting Sunday night, the city of Kenosha, Wisconsin, became the latest in a long line of Democrat-run cities engulfed in violence.
Democrat Mayor John Antaramian ran the city from 1992 to 2008. Obama supporter and presumed Democrat (I can’t find a record anywhere of his official party affiliation) Keith Bosman took his place and served as mayor for two terms until 2016. Antaramian ran and won again in 2016, which makes him the current mayor.
So Kenosha appears to have been run by Democrats going back as far as 1992 — almost 30 years. It is also seen in many ways as a suburb of Chicago. Milwaukee might be 20 miles closer, but Milwaukee’s suburbs are primarily west and north of that city. Kenosha is right on the Wisconsin border and right on a major interstate (I-94) that will get you into downtown Chicago in about an hour, and into the Chicago suburbs even sooner.
Kenosha is a city of about 100,000 that sits right next to Lake Michigan and now, like Portland, Seattle, Milwaukee, Chicago, Minnesota, St. Louis, New York, Oakland, etc., etc., etc., it is ground zero for mindless arson, rioting, and looting.

One homeowner accomplished what the entire local police department could not or WOULD NOT do:
That is, he ended the demonstration/would-be riot and forced the protestors OUT OF the area by the use of one or two "warning shots".

For the past couple of months, again and again and again and again and again and again (had enough yet?), I've been reading the meme posted by some in this forum that "it's going to be up to the citizens" (i.e., not the politicians or police) to end the insurgency. That's a good and valid argument.
Well, last night in Kenosha, one citizen did exactly that: he stepped up, used just enough force to accomplish the objective (i.e., end the protest/riot and remove the protestors/potential rioters) from the area).
He ended the protest without killing or injuring anyone.
Is that not the best possible outcome for this event?

Evers barely beat Walker in the last election.
Wisconsin is not like Oregon or Washington as far as being a solid blue state like many people believe.
It's closer to 50-50. Madison and Milwaukee are where the Dems win their elections.
Bush II lost Wisconsin twice by paper thin margins, and Trump won in 2016.
Hopefully, Wisconsin residents learn the lesson of having an ineffectual, feckless Dem as gov. Evers fits that to a tee.

I have to disagree. The McCloskey's provided a warning and they moved on to a different location, This person fired a warning shot and i am willing to bet these "protesters" will be moving on to a different location. You need to put enough hurt on them that they will never try that shit again.
