Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and some members of the Duck Dynasty family will be on Fox News for its New Year's Eve programming Tuesday night.
After A&E suspended patriarch Phil Robertson for comments to GQ magazine that were deemed to be "anti-gay," the network, which is owned by Disney, reinstated Robertson last Friday. Palin is the politician that many, including a prominent columnist for The Hill, said most resonates with Duck Dynasty nation.
Palin was the first politician of note to vigorously defend Robertson immediately after he got suspended, saying that "free speech is an endangered species" and "those 'intolerants' hatin’ and taking on the 'Duck Dynasty' patriarch for voicing his personal opinion are taking on all of us."
Her comments paved the way for some other politicians on the right--like Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R)--that came to Robertson's defense while the Republican establishment was silent.
Palin wrote on her Facebook page on Monday that she would be talking about some of her resolutions for 2014 on Fox News:

Over the weekend, Fox News's Twitter account teased an appearance by some members of the Robertson family:

Especially now that the biggest competition— Dick Clark— is dead.
The Robertsons will provide a much needed diversion from the top 40 fare Seacrest, Daly and that ilk are serving up, not to mention Kathy Griffin.

I have a feeling they're saving the Robertsons until midnight. They keep saying they'll be on 'in a moment,' but it doesn't seem to be happening...... ^-^

IIRC, Miley Cyrus is preforming live @ Time Square. Might only be on one channel, but still.
Not sure what would be worse, watching that or the Texas A&M defense in the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
