Exclusive — Gov. Youngkin Orders Virginia State Police to Monitor Protests at SCOTUS Justices’ Homes, Assist if Necessary

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, a Republican, is aware of the protests at U.S. Supreme Court Justices’s homes and has ordered Virginia State Police to monitor them and provide assistance if necessary, a spokeswoman for the governor told Breitbart News.
“The governor is aware and Virginia State Police will monitor the situation,” Macaulay Porter, Youngkin’s spokeswoman, said in a statement. “VSP will assist federal and local law enforcement as needed to ensure the safety of our citizens, including Supreme Court justices, who call Virginia home.”
Three U.S. Supreme Court Justices—Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Amy Coney Barrett—live in Virginia. A leftist group called “Ruth Sent Us” this week called for protests at the homes of the Justices. On Thursday evening, pro-life protesters thanking Alito appeared outside his home after the leftist group revealed the addresses of the six Justices appointed by GOP presidents online. The Ruth Sent Us organization announced on its website plans for a “walk-by” of the Justices’ homes—the three in Virginia as well as the Maryland homes of Justices Brett Kavanaugh, John Roberts, and Neil Gorsuch—on Wednesday, May 11.
The protests come in the wake of Politico publishing a leaked copy of a draft opinion that it says five of the high court’s Justices agreed to that would overturn Roe V. Wade, the decades-old highly controversial early 1970s decision that on a wide scale legalized abortion in America.

Good. Whether supportive or protesting, I'm very leery of showing up at judges home en masse to voice your message. Tips way too close to trying to sway their decision and interfering with the judicial process.

Arrest them...
Arresting Leftists does nothing, as was proven a thousand times by BLM/Antifa. They will never ever, ever ever, face ANY punishment and will forever be considered 'heroes' for the Leftist global agenda with 'street cred' (whatever the hell that is). And they know this.
Based on recent American judicial behavior, even if they shot up the houses and burned down the whole neighborhood, they would not be arrested. And if they were arrested by accident by some Cop disobeying orders, they would be back out in a couple of hours.
This is not my opinion. This is what has happened hundreds of times over and over again.

Kavanaugh and Roberts both live in MD. Alito, Gorsuch and Thomas all live in VA and I'm not sure about Amy Barrett

All this Leftist frenzy nationwide has very little to do with abortion. Granted, there are some Sanger fans who actually do want to continue to halt American Black population growth, but the issue has grown beyond that. Abortion has become religious canon for fundamentalist Leftists. It has become for many of them their, 'raison de vivre' reason for living.
They view ANY encroachment on abortion, no matter how slight, as an attack on the entirety of their world view and even their existence. Since for whatever reason we will never understand, abortion has become a bastion of the Leftist faith and cult, losing any part of it is considered by them to be a devastating defeat to their entire movement.
Margaret Sanger was an avowed and very vocal and prolific eugenicist and was a supporter of Hitler during his rise to power.

It is also a violation of their privacy as well as a form of intimidation. EVERYBODY has a right to privacy at their home. Even SC Justices and their neighbors.

Silence doesn't guarantee safety. The mob may come for you. The Commonwealth Attorney has the power to prosecute the individuals picketing and protesting outside the homes of SCOTUS Justices. The Commonwealth Attorney is supposed to enforce the law.

Frankly,I am surprised anyone thinks this is controversial.
I would have been shocked as well as mad if the Virginia AG hadn't ordered this done.
The only thing that surprises me about this is that the feds hadn't already provided guards at their homes. After all,they have these guys already on the fed payroll they call "US Marshalls",and if there is anyone that symbolizes and "speaks" for the US Gooberment,it is the Supreme Court.
