Trump rages on Truth Social as closing arguments continue in 'hush money' trial: 'BORING!'

As closing arguments resumed in his "hush money" case on Tuesday, Trump remained active on social media.

In a pair of all-caps, single-word posts, the former president took to Truth Social just after jurors took a short break at 5 pm.

"BORING!" Trump wrote in one of the posts.

"FILIBUSTER!" he wrote in a second Truth.

It is beyond me why Trump does things like that. It just adds more stench across the board.

Trey Gowdy: Prosecution continues 'laborious' closing argument

Laborious chronology continues with Allen Weisselberg as a central figure but just not a witness in the actual trial.Ordinarily the decision not to call a witness can lead to inferences being drawn against the prosecution but when a defense does put up a case - as it did here - is that presumption voided or is it burden shifting to ask why the defense didn't call him themselves?

Stormy Daniels lied for a long time after getting money from Cohen: Howard Kurtz

Fox News host Howard Kurtz took aim at the "selective" measures the prosecution took as it sought to convince the jury of its case against former President Donald Trump on Tuesday, insisting that former porn actress Stormy Daniels "lied for a long time" as it relates to her alleged encounter with Trump.

"When it comes to the prosecution, also highly selective," said Kurtz, who hosts Fox News Channel's "MediaBuzz" on Sundays. "Josh Steinglass, the prosecutor [said] they tried to shame Stormy ... he said she never changed her story. That's preposterous. She lied for a long time after getting the $130,000 from Michael Cohen."

Describing the case against Trump as "very thin," Kurtz also took aim at the defense's "selective" measures in trying to make their case to jurors.

"I think the defense absolutely scored some points, but ... Todd Blanche started out by saying Trump and Stormy have repeatedly denied that this took place. That was to please the client, I believe, but obviously Stormy now testifies that the alleged encounter in 2006 very much did happen," Kurtz said.

Kurtz's comments come as the prosecution team continues its closing arguments, which they said could last hours longer.

Former President Donald Trump summed up the prosecution team's lengthy closing arguments in one word.

"BORING!" Trump posted on Truth Social Tuesday.

The prosecution team began its closing arguments around 2 p.m., and said ahead of 4 p.m. they were only about one-third of the way through the remarks.

Experts weighed in that prosecutors are dragging out the arguments in a bid to make it appear they "proved their case."

"I think their strategy is: throw a lot at the jury, make the closing seem so long, that the jury will start to say, 'well, that closing was so long, they must have had a lot to say they must have proved their case,'" New York lawyer Rebecca Rose Woodland said on Fox News Tuesday.

Former White House Deputy Chief of Staff and Fox News Contributor Karl Rove added that the prosecutors' case "looks like a stretch" while Americans have rallied around Trump.

"This is supposedly a federal election law violation, the Federal Election Commission looked at it and passed, the Department of Justice took a pass on it," he said. "This is supposedly the federal election law is being violated in a way that somehow ties it into a New York law regarding business records. It looks like a stretch."

"It's been put into effect by a highly partisan DA and it's frankly caused people to rally to the former president's defense," Rove added. "He's raised a lot of money for his campaign off it to pay his legal bills and he's gone up in the polls since last August when all these indictments came down. Now some of them are more serious, the classified documents case, I think, is a serious issue. But none of those other issues are likely to be heard now until the end of the election."

Liz Cheney has ZERO CREDIBILITY!  ZERO!!!  Her family is probably the richest in Wyoming, and that is all any of the Cheneys have.  Boku money, much obtained illegally!

But Trump excels at one thing, alienating everyone on the path of life.  Literally everyone.  Had he not been a fool with John McCann, McCann would have voted with the Republican caucus, but because of Trump's incessant mouthy bullying, McCann's deathbed last act was to give Trump the fickle finger of fate and vote to keep Obamacare.

I NEVER liked McCann.  So much so, I voted 3rd party as a protest vote.  For him and Romney.  Both POSs in my humble opinion.

But Trump is utterly clueless about building coalitions to accomplish anything via legislation.  All he brings to the table is EOs, which once again will get wiped out in days when the next Democommie gets elected POTUS.

Trump is a loud mouthed fool.  Frankly, I long tired of him.  And the Dems will fix the election again any how.  I think all the stops will be pulled to put the Dem candidate in office.  Even with RFK Jr threatening to take votes from both Trump and Biden, it ultimately boils down to the ones and zeroes in the dark hours of the night following the election.  FIX, FIX, FIX.  And no one other than rump will say boo.  Why?  Because to vocalize your discontent of a fixed election gets you years in prison.

All this nonsense about polls and what they say matters for nothing once those ones and zeroes get manipulated.

Remember, for those that oppose Biden, as he aptly pointed out, he has nuclear weapons and F18s, what does the opposition have?  He literally threatened the citizens of the USA with nuclear weapons with any one protesting a dishonest election.  And the media was largely mute.

Biden is the worst by light years as POTUS.  James Buchanan(often touted as THE WORST) has nothing on Biden for being the fool and totally ineffective.

The court decision(s) concerning this and similar questions are 4 or 5 decades old ...
Exactly. Are school officials really that stupid, or are they incredibly hostile to Christians?

Jurors willing to stay as late as 8 p.m. to finish closing arguments
By Kyle Schnitzer

We may be here for a while as jurors are willing to stay as late as 8 p.m., the judge says.

This indicates the jury has had enough. LET'S GET THIS CHARADE OVER WITH! NOW! The jury is already done with the prosecutions dog-and-pony show.

My note: I have been around President Trump for 25 years, there is NO WAY IN H-E-Double Hockey Sticks that he would approve of a plan that would have cost him an additional $210,000!
