Pop superstar Lady Gaga has made the baffling claim that people who are born in the United States are all fed white supremacy ideology. The Chromatica singer added that she supports the social justice activism taking place around the country and hopes that it will continue to grow.
In a lengthy Billboard interview, Lady Gaga said that she is trying to learn and unlearn things that she’s been exposed to her entire life.
“When you’re born in this country, we all drink the poison that is white supremacy,†she told the magazine. “I am in the process of learning and unlearning things I’ve been taught my whole life.â€

I liked her in the movie "A Star is Born" -- that is now where it ends for me. The song made her popular and hope she enjoyed that ride. She's a bat crap crazy liberal along with the most of Hollywood. I will never go see another movie with her in it, and I didn't listen to her music before the movie and have even less reason to listen to her music now.

Yes I realize that and even at that I looked beyond that issue, went and saw the movie and enjoyed it. No need for me to see another movie that she's in.

She has one of the best voices in the biz,and she is also a talented actress and seems to be very intelligent.
Unfortunately for her,she has lived her whole life in the inbred social circle that is the NYC entertainment industry,and is batshit crazy. She thrives there,and would probably get locked up if it weren't for her wealth if she lived anywhere else.
I know for a fact that I am done even listening to her music on tv for free.

I suspect you are right. Plus she is getting old enough to wrinkle now,and her "friends" are shallow people who will dump her the instant they realize that hanging with her doesn't help their careers.

Progressives understand that he/she/ze/xe who controls the language, controls the terms of the debate.
They also comprehend that a common language in the service of ideology is an effective weapon, especially when it is used to silence debate, specifically by bullying tactics such as the "accusation privilege" and presumptive victimhood.

My white privilege comes from the immigrant generation before me. Both my great-grandparents (who bought the family ticket for the boat trip), my maternal grandparents and infant, gave me my white skin and PRIDE in accomplishment and supporting my family. They had no material wealth a year after WWI. Things are better now....... :patriot:

The conceit of the people pushing the "white privilege" myth is that all white people benefited from minorities, especially black people, being oppressed and denied jobs/opportunities that would have theirs if not for white people.
One of the huge problems with theory is the fact that many whites, like my family, lived in cities/areas virtually devoid of black people.
I lived for six or seven years in a basement house sharing a bed with my older brother. I had two sisters who slept in the other corner of the room which also had the furnace, the oil tank, and the bathroom.
We were pretty poor.
The people my father had to compete against in our area were other white people. For decades there was only one black family in my city of fifty thousand, and they lived at the other end of town five miles away. I never knew they existed until some high school friends who lived in the part of town where the black people lived told me about them. I never saw them or hardly any other black people when I was growing up.
That was true for many areas in the upper midwest. Unless they lived in a large city or close to a large city many had virtually no black people in their areas.
White people mostly competed against other white people.
Even now my old hometown's black population is only three or four percent.
Show me the statistics where blacks score even with whites on scholastic tests instead of being at the bottom of the list, and I'll agree with the "white privilege" charge.
Until then, the charge is bunk.

Inner city blacks are the last large voting block for the left. If they lose just a small percentage of that, it's impossible for them to win any national elections.
Leftist policies over the last several decades have failed inner city blacks miserably. But leftists gauge policy not on results or consequences but how those policies make them feel. But they are aware the conditions inner city blacks are in. So, instead of having an honest discussion about inner city policies, they have to convince inner city blacks that white people are out to get them and only voting left will protect them
There may be a small shift starting with more young black people starting to run as Republicans in these cities and districts. We will see
