Experts Urge Congress to Stop Joe Biden from Allowing ‘Unvetted’ Migrants to Board U.S. Flights

JOHN BINDER29 Apr 202414

Experts are demanding Congress prevent President Joe Biden’s administration from allowing migrants at the southern border to bypass Transportation Security Administration (TSA) rules while flying throughout the United States.

The Immigration Accountability Project (IAP), which Rosemary Jenks heads, is leading a letter to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), urging them to include the “VALID Act” in 2024’s bill reauthorizing the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The VALID Act, which Rep. Mark Green (R-TN) introduced with Sens. Rick Scott (R-FL) and Mike Lee (R-UT), would halt the Biden administration’s practice of allowing migrants from the U.S.-Mexico border to use Department of Homeland Security (DHS) documents as official identification (ID) to present to TSA agents at American airports.

Biden’s ICE Sued for Withholding Information on Hiding Identities of Criminal Illegal Aliens

The Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) is suing President Joe Biden’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for withholding internal agency information regarding its policy to hide the identities of criminal illegal aliens that agents arrest.

On Thursday, IRLI’s Dale Wilcox announced that the watchdog group is suing ICE after the agency failed to reply to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

That request asked ICE to hand over internal information and emails on how the agency decides when to reveal a criminal illegal alien’s identity in press releases.

IRLI conducted an investigation last year which found that under former President Donald Trump, ICE named 97 percent of criminal illegal aliens identified in press releases while under Biden, only 67 percent of criminal illegal aliens are being named in press releases.

Biden White House starts end run around Supreme Court WOTUS ruling

At an April 23 “Water Summit” at the White House, the Biden administration announced a multi-agency plan reasserting the federal role in determining the future of wetlands in the wake of last year’s landmark Supreme Court Decision limiting Washington’s authority to regulate “waters of the United States” (WOTUS).

The administration’s move on wetlands appears to be part of a concerted effort to get as many rules and regulations as possible in place by the end of the year, in the event there is no second Biden term.

In April, alone, the Biden Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued new rules setting stricter emissions standards for heavy-duty trucks, buses, and other vehicles by 2027, mandated steeper emissions cuts from new natural gas power plants and existing coal plants, and approved a California plan to mandate zero-emissions locomotives on all rail lines in the state by 2030, a move that could be adopted by like-minded states thereby crippling the nation’s vast freight rail network. Zero-emissions locomotives simply do not exist and are not likely to by the arbitrarily set deadline.

House GOP Passes Controversial Bill Labeling Certain Christian Scriptures as ‘Antisemitic,’ Sparking Fears of Criminalizing Religious Beliefs
by Jim Hᴏft

Gateway Pundit

The House of Representatives passed the “Antisemitism Awareness Act” (H.R. 6090) on Wednesday, which has sparked significant debate over the interpretation of religious texts and the definition of hate speech.

The bill, aimed at curbing hate speech amid heightened tensions on college campuses concerning Israel, has seen a significant majority of Republicans in support, while a coalition of Democrats and Republicans opposed it, citing free speech concerns.

It passed with a vote of 320-91, seeing opposition from 70 Democrats and 21 Republicans. The bill was introduced by Rep. Mike Lawler, R-N.Y., and supported by 15 Democratic co-sponsors. ...

The bill defines antisemitism broadly, incorporating definitions provided by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), including traditional antisemitic actions and accusations such as those against the state of Israel. Critically, the bill makes it an offense to “apply double standards” to Israel or to accuse it of genocide, categorizing such actions as hate speech.

Among the dissenting voices is Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who expressed concern that the bill’s definition of antisemitism could potentially criminalize Christians for their religious beliefs, particularly narratives in the Gospel regarding the death of Jesus Christ.

“Antisemitism is wrong, but I will not be voting for the Antisemitism Awareness Act of 2023 (H.R. 6090) today that could convict Christians of antisemitism for believing the Gospel that says Jesus was handed over to Herod to be crucified by the Jews,” Greene wrote. ...

The hate speech bill that just passed the House will not protect students or prevent anarchy on college campuses… but if signed into law, it would  subordinate the First Amendment to the whims of an international body and succeed where other efforts to criminalize speech under the Civil Rights Act have failed.

Can “Christ is King” be used as an antisemitic slur? Yes.
But, is it a true statement? Of course.
Can “The Jews Killed Jesus” be used as an antisemitic slur? Yes.

The U.S. Gov criminalizing saying “The Jews Killed Jesus” is a denial of Biblical fact. It’s soft. It’s censorship of free speech that has potentially terrible ramifications…
