The speech isn't mandated. Trump could write "Good" on a used cocktail napkin with a dirty fingernail and submit it to congress and that would suffice.

Yes, Trump knocked it out of the park and gave and excellent speech. The only thing I was disappointed in was his statement on granting a pathway to citizenship to 1.3 million. President Trump delivered a very clear message; America is Back!!

The applause sounded canned. After about his drooling and talking baby talk for a few minutes, the producer panned to the audience. There may have been 50 humans there. Maybe more. They were stacked pretty close together for the "panning."

I listened to that part of the speech very carefully. No chain migration, no lottery, border security ... all fine. As for the 'dreamers' I really don't know what he said, something about a 12 year path to citizenship. Will have to find out more from the press. (hah)

Ok ... watched the Kennedy video for about 2 minutes ... absolutely pitiful. He looks and sounds like he's giving his first high school speech in a school gymnasium. She did come to the U.S. with her mamma when she was five years of age.
I have a difficult time talking to her. She changes apartments, cell numbers/phones so frequently, I can't keep up. My second question is always: Are you married yet? So far the answer has been, "No, but I am still in school."

Your mistake was not understanding who Trump is. He is a master showman. He would have pushed this memo out if the SOTU was a loser.
