House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., joined FOX News on Sunday to discuss the upcoming midterm election. Johnson, like Americans understand that this election will determine the fate of the nation

“I’m telling you what, you better not bet against the House Republicans.”

Johnson predicted Republicans would retain their House majority and described the midterms as a “contrast election” that would come down to about 19 seats.

Peter Doocy: The New York Times is reporting that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Jared Kushner met privately and discussed how Democrats and the administration could work together. What do you make of this?

The crazy is easy to figure out but the "common sense" thing has me a bit confused.  I don't hear a whole lot about what republicans stand for.  I would think they would be pounding the left lunatics with messages about what they stand for = but not so much.  In fact, they seem about as common as ads from a local florist.  It's still better than lunatic, but that's for me, not everyone else.  I think they need to get hot and act like they want control of congress. *look*

Common sense is not so common.  The unwashed masses are most unhappy with the Gang That Can't Legislate Straight in Washington DC.  They'll try anything and anyone to bring down the Establishments that do nothing for The People.

It would be a 40-seat blowout if Republicans simply did what they promised to do before getting elected 2 years ago.  The Speaker may be optimistic about the outcome, but he would be hard pressed to provide an honest reason why we should vote for Republicans.

Wait a minute....

$40T in national debt and the term "common sense" in the same breath within a week?

Governmental Purge is needed.  Stop feeding the entitlement class, and operate like a business with zero based budgeting.

Let's not be naive children here. Trump can't do everything, and we have a 1 vote majority in the House, and an intransigent RINO leadership in the Senate.

Exactly how do we get anything done with that? We need a bigger margin in the House, and I have no idea how to fix the Senate.
