Qiu didn't respond to requests for comment. That's pretty much the transparency you'd expect from a man who used to do detective work for Shanghai's Public Security Bureau — their FBI, basically.

Oh, and did I mention that he reportedly set a sniper record during a Chinese war game?

Seems pretty important, given the context.

Also, Qiu publicly describes the CCP as "a kind, but firm parent" that is steering China toward "great national rejuvenation."

Let's not leave out the fact that one of Qiu's most prominent positions is chairman of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, part of the United Front Work Department.

I'm sure he bought it to protect Trump by shooting down one of those big balloons China likes to send to the US if it "drifts" toward the WH. :whistle:
