In just one week, Russia launched nearly 2,000 drones, more than 1,600 aerial bombs, and 31 missiles of various types at Ukraine, including North Korean ballistic missiles.

Last night in Kyiv, three people were injured. Fires broke out in a residential building and an administrative building.

▪️ Yesterday afternoon, a Russian drone struck the grounds of a poultry farm in Chernihiv region. A utility building was damaged and a fire broke out, destroying 240 tonnes of straw. Private houses also caught fire.

▪️ Russian forces terrorized Mykolaiv region throughout the day. A warehouse belonging to a food-processing company was damaged, sparking a large-scale fire.

▪️ Seven people were injured in Donetsk region over the past day.

More than 113,000 Russians left the country for Georgia through the Verkhny Lars checkpoint in a single week following rumors of a new draft.

On August 20 alone, over 20,000 people crossed through the border point. Russia’s Federal Customs Service stated that this figure significantly exceeds levels from previous years, as reported by Politico.

In recent months, the Kremlin has intensified recruitment for contract soldiers, stepped up data collection on reservists, and expanded the powers of the Russian National Guard.

At the same time, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, stated on August 20 that a new mobilization in the country is "not planned and not expected."

According to sources, Russia has been unable to consistently recruit more than 30,000 contract soldiers per month this year, with figures dropping to 27,000 in certain months.

Against this background, Russian authorities have increased focus on reservists, mainly men under the age of 55  .  .  .

Klaus went to the front in August 2023 and took part in assaults in Donetsk region. He suffered an arm injury and a concussion, then returned to Krasnoyarsk, where, according to Russian media, he regularly meets with schoolchildren and students, holds "Lessons of Courage," and urges young people to sign military contracts after completing compulsory service and go to war against Ukraine, calling it a "heroic act."

A massive Russian attack on Ukraine with missiles and more than 200 drones: 12 killed, dozens injured, including children and rescuers.

▪️ In Kyiv, eight people were killed and eight more were injured, including a 10-year-old boy.

▪️ Four people were killed and 13 injured, including two children, in Kyiv region’s Boryspil district. Civilian infrastructure was damaged.

Russian Major General Mykola Varpakhovych was shot in the head today by an unknown attacker.

The Russian soldier is responsible for an airstrike on a childrens’ cancer hospital in Kyiv in July 2024 which killed two and wounded 16, including 7 children.

Varpakhovych is the commander of Russia’s 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division.

He was shot today near his unit’s airbase in Engels and is now in critical condition.

He’s responsible for the following war crimes in which 91 Ukrainian civilians were killed.

1. Kyiv TV tower (5 killed)

A cruise missile strike in March 2022 on the tower and nearby ground killed 5 civilians, including a 12-year-old girl.

2. High-rise in Odesa (8 killed)

Eight killed in a cruise missile strike in April 2022 on an apartment building, including three generations of a single family: three-month-old Kira Glodan, mom Valeria and grandmother Lyudmila.

3. Amstor Mall in Kremenchuk (24 killed)

Two Kh-22 missiles hit the shopping centre in June 2022. 24 killed and dozens wounded.

4. Apartment block in Serhiivka (21 killed)

3 Kh-22 missiles from a Tu-22M3s struck an apartment building and a holiday camp in July 2022 near Odesa.

5. Uman apartment block (24 killed)

A Kh-101 strike flattened part of a nine-storey block in April 2023. 24 killed, including 6 kids.

6. Okhmatdyt children’s hospital (2 killed)

A Kh-101 from a Tu-95MS hit the hospital in Kyiv during a nationwide barrage in July 2024.

7. Kyiv historical center (7 killed)

The fatalities included a highly publicized tragedy where four members of a single family—a 43-year-old mother (Yevhenia) and her three daughters (ages 7, 18, and 21)—were killed together inside their apartment building. Their father, Yaroslav, was the sole survivor of the family.

Many of the Russian war criminals guilty of murdering Ukrainian civilians in this war may never be brought to justice. Some of them, like Major General Mykola Varpakhovych, will however be tracked down in Russia by Ukraine’s intelligence agencies. Justice will be served.

The attack took place at around 07:00 near his home in Probuzhdeniye, Saratov Oblast. The attacker fired two pistol shots, hitting Varpakhovich in the head and abdomen.

The killing will stop when the Russians decide to stop killing and leave Ukraine.  They alone are the reason there is a war.  They started it.  They intend to subjugate all of Ukraine, and they intend to un-Ukraine it.  Just as they have been doing all over Europe and Asia for well over a century.

Russia can end this war any time it chooses.  But the day Ukraine decides not to defend itself, it will be the day that Ukraine ceases to exist as a sovereign country.  If Mexico invaded the US and took control of southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, all the while committing atrocities against American civilians and leveling entire cities, should Americans lay down their arms and sue for peace (by giving up even more territory and agreeing to allow Mexico to install our President for us) hoping that Mexico would stop killing?  Or should we fight back like Ukraine is doing?

The longer we review the stuff coming out of the legacy U.S. Intelligence Community, the more I realize how much of a fool I was for ever trusting their nonsense.

Today, former CIA Director General David Petraeus claims that Russia has suffered over 1.4 million killed or wounded in action (KIA/WIA). {SOURCE}

For those just recently entering the era of ‘great awakening’, let this type of nonsense propaganda serve as a starting point to realize what CTH has described from the outset of the Ukraine-Russia ‘conflict’ as, essentially, World War Reddit.

There are approximately 140 million Russian people living in Russia.  Of that population there are approximately 60 million males.  Of the 60 million males there are approximately 20 million men aged 18-35.  Additionally, 75% of the Russian population lives in urban centers, ie. cities.

If 1.4 million men (out of 20 million) were killed or wounded in the Ukraine conflict, the hospitals and convalescent facilities in around the cities of Kazan, Moscow and St Petersburg would be full; at least significantly beyond ordinary medical capacity.  They are not. Not even close.

I have no idea where these western ‘intelligence’ analysts and experts come up with these statistics, but they are so far beyond nonsense the light from where silly stuff originates could not reach them for years.  They could have just used the word “eleventy’. There is nowhere near that number of KIA/WIA in Russia; not even close.

Petraus might be right. But it might also be that Russia is dreadfully covering up the number of dead which would be why casualties are not making it to hospitals.

It would not be out of character for Russian commanders in the field to kill their own wounded in order to conserve resources. A wounded man can require help from two or more other soldiers. A dead soldier doesn't.

Count on the Russians to consider this the same as they did in previous wars.
