Was rooting around on Youtube, and they had this piece on 7 Famous People That Died Recently.  I started watching it, and it is one famous person after another.

I can't help wondering how many died prematurely because they received the COVID vaccine(s).  That is the coverup of the century, and it may never be officially revealed until all of us are long dead.  The liability would be in the billions, if not trillions.

So many folks I did not realize had passed away.

Brenda Fricker, Oscar-winning character actress, dies at 81

Fricker flourished in the late 1980s and early 1990s, often playing roles with a slightly eccentric yet motherly air, winning an Academy Award for her role as the lead role's mother in My Left Foot. She followed that with roles in Home Alone 2 and Angels in the Outfield.

Freddy "Boom Boom" Cannon, early 1960s rock and roll star, dies at 89

Cannon's hard-driving, almost-growling style was influenced by his upbringing in the suburbs of Boston and became a favorite of American Bandstand host Dick Clark's. It can be heard on hits such as "Tallahassee Lassie," "Palisades Park," "Abigail Beecher," "Action (Theme from Where the Action Is)" and his cover of "Way Down Yonder in New Orleans."

Manslaughter???? WTF????

That's Murder One, straight up. Medina needs the death penalty.

The agency said Rapp and a fellow bicyclist were riding on a local road when Medina passed them in his car, stopped, and drove his vehicle in reverse. Medina then hit Rapp, and she was pronounced dead after emergency responders brought her to a hospital.

Brazos deputies said they booked Medina on a count of manslaughter, which Texas law defines as recklessly causing a person’s death.

While the sheriff’s office did not provide additional details, court records reported by the Texas news outlet KHOU said Medina had sped past Rapp and her boyfriend when the boyfriend raised his hands. The court records alleged that Medina slammed on his brakes, backed into Rapp and hit her so hard that she shattered the rear windshield.

Yep, road rage--2nd degree murder.

Loved that character. We didn't watch The Sopranos during its original run, as we didn't have HBO, but saw the "sanitized" episodes on A&E. Big Puss still got offed, and swims with the fishes.

I guess that only leaves Bo, Luke and Daisy Duke left.

We can't count the lost season when Coy and Vance, The Duke boys cousins who, according to a hastily written explanation, had left the farm years earlier and were now returning to help out while Bo and Luke were “away.”

My headcanon is that the boys got busted, Boss Hogg threw them in jail, and they brought Coy and Vance in to cover that up until their sentences ended.

Violet Hensley, Ozarks fiddling legend, dies at 109
What a life!
Quote
... Violet never backed away from a challenge, often exceeding her own lofty goals. A violin teacher once told Violet it is impossible to play the violin and sing at the same time. Violet held up her violin, repeated, “Impossible?” and began to sing and play. Eventually, Violet’s signature performance was playing her fiddle on top of her head while singing and dancing a jig.

Violet was the embodiment of the Ozarks: a balance of determination, grit, and ingenuity. Like the rugged Ozarks, her life was filled with challenging turns in the road and mountains to scale, but her resilient spirit and resourcefulness molded her into a woman that never let struggles steal her joy. Violet internalized the hardships in her life along with the victories, and her music was her way of expressing herself in ways that words could not.

At 15, she determined to carve a fiddle as fine as the ones her father crafted. She completed fiddle number one in a few months, and three more by the age of 17. Later in life, after raising her ten children, she crafted another 69. ...

The Rachael Dolezal/Elizabeth Warren of Cambridge, so to speak.

Clarification: unlike Dolezal, he really was black. It's just that everything else about him, from biography to academic credentials and everything in his curriculum vitae was a lie.

One of my baseball heroes. Guy was an absolute beast of a pitcher and I got a few of his early baseball cards.

I couldn't help but think of the Sopranos dialogue:
Christopher Moltisanti: "You ever think what a coincidence it is that Lou Gehrig died of Lou Gehrig's disease?"
Tony Soprano: "You're gonna make that same stupid joke every time that comes up?"

What a coincidence Tommy John had an operation called Tommy John surgery!

She was a damned... good looking actress. Most of the stuff she was in wasn't really my thing, but... good golly, she was easy on the eyes.

She was also close to Vlad Klitschko, the famed boxer and Ukrainian warrior, with whom she had a child. It would not surprise me to find out Putin's minions had something to do with her death to get back at Klitschko. It would not be the first time he's used espionage to take out a political enemy.

Frank Beard, the longtime drummer for legendary rock band ZZ Top, has died ... TMZ has learned.

According to the Fort Bend County Medical Examiner Frank passed away on August 17 at his Texas ranch with family by his side after a stay in hospice. A cause of death has not been disclosed at this time.

ZZ Top founder Billy F. Gibbons released a statement on his passing saying, “Today, Elwood and I lost a great friend and collaborator, and the world lost one of the most naturally innovative drummers and a great and true son of Texas. His signature backbeat was key to keeping ZZ on top. The band of which he was part for six decades is going to keep on keeping on as he had wished.”   ...

Scientists, like all discoverers of truth, have always asked, "What?” “How?” “Why?” “What if?” and “Why not?” Questioning science is science.

That's too bad. I think they lost another member not long ago.

I had never been a big ZZ fan but a friend had an extra ticket that he offered to me. (never used to turn down a free live concert, lol)

It was really a fun concert and converted me to being a fan.
