Ex-Fox News host claims Trump tried to kiss her in elevator
by Caitlin Yilek | Dec 8, 2017, 7:53 PM

Former Fox News host Juliet Huddy said President Trump tried to kiss her on the lips in an elevator in Trump Tower sometime around 2005 or 2006.

Huddy said she went out for lunch with Trump at Trump Tower before they said goodbye in the elevator when the alleged kiss took place, Page Six reported Friday.

“He took me for lunch at Trump Tower, just us two. He said goodbye to me in an elevator while his security guy was there, rather than kiss me on the cheek he leaned in to kiss me on the lips. I wasn’t offended, I was kind of like, ‘Oh my god,’” Huddy said.

Huddy, who left the network after allegedly receiving a settlement from former Fox anchor Bill O’Reilly, said she was “surprised” Trump went for her mouth.

Trump kissed me too! It was in an elevator with no witnesses, but it did happen.

Now gimme some money. I want an interview on all the Lib talk shows. Next, I'm gonna write a book about it.

Where is CNN!?

That is exactly why so many wealthy guys will not get on an elevator with women on it.

Well, it has mine.  I have this news feed built into my new laptop.  Seems every other story involves some allegations  of impropriety against a celebrity or prominent figure-- many of whom I never heard of.

My inclination is to skip over all these stories and ignore them, hoping they will go away. But sadly, if everyone did that, it is possible some truly vicious crime will be ignored too.  We had come a long way from when rape was ignored and the victim attacked ("she asked for it"),  but with this Me Too campaign,  I think we are regressing.

There was a story not long ago about VP Pence scrupulously avoiding being alone with any woman not his wife. I remember he was actually laughed at for this policy.  I don't believe too many people are scoffing at him now.

Looking at the women Donald has dated over the years, at Melania’s gorgeous figure, then looking at Juliet Huddy; she’s not his type.

This Huddy long tale is to laugh.

Rape and sexual harassment are not about attractiveness or type.  I'm butt ugly and I was hit on by a boss.  It's about power, being macho, the conquest.

That all said, I would hope Trump has settled down now.  For one thing, he's too old for the "game."  For another he seems to have a really good wife and should have no reason to seek anyone else.

And a kiss in an elevator -- if it really happened -- is a nothingburger compared to violent sexual crimes against women.  From what I hear, Billy Bob Clinton did a helluva lot worse.

**Yawn**

I guess wake me when there's an allegation of Trump whipping out his junk and ordering a woman to 'kiss it' in the Oval Office.

Because you know.... precedent, and all that.

Then again, it is public knowledge that if one is a liberal, that act is a resume enhancer because we were lectured that what a person does in their 'private life' does not affect the way they govern.

I go back to Billy Graham, who was never alone in a room with a woman.

It serves a dual purpose.  Removes the ability to give in, and removes the ability to be falsely accused.

NO one should laugh at that policy.  It's prudent all around.

(And my guess is that Pence got the idea from the well known Billy Graham policy).

Its not really feasible for most of us. My co-workers are 3 women. The doctors in the building are probably 50/50 male/female but the nurses, receptionists, and techs are probably 99% female. In fact my job requires that I be alone with the females because one of my duties is to escort the females to their cars after dark if they're alone.

I give one of my female co-workers a ride home after work a couple of times per week. My girlfriend isn't particularly fond of it but she has some serious jealousy issues that she's working on. I always call Shanna to make sure she knows that I'm dropping Thea off and where I'm dropping her off at so she has an idea of how late I'll be. She says it scares her because its why she fell in love with me and she knows that other girls like me for the same reason.

I was suggesting that for high-profile individuals (yes, male and female).

Depending on one's job it may be impossible, but it seems like a good idea in as much as it's possible.

(Thinking of how many meetings I had with pastors as a music director in a church, where it was just the two of us.  Don't know how that would work either).

I don't abandon my friends that easily. Its especially true of someone I had exceedingly low expectations from and still managed to earn my absolute respect.

I've got lots of female friends among my oldest and best friends from childhood.

While on a business trip with a group, a married woman I worked closely with and we were good friends (who was smoking hot beautiful, btw) asked me if I would go with her to her room to help her pump her breasts. It was like bench pressing 300lbs for me to say no. I wanted to go with her so freakin bad. I still dream about what that would have been like. But, as a rule, I do not screw around with married women.

Couple of months later I found out that her marriage was in trouble, and she was naming names. Had I done it, I would been caught up in the middle of a nasty divorce, and in the workplace no less. I really dodged a bullet. It was one of the hardest (no pun) times I have ever endured to say 'no'. She was a real temptress. But, it saved my career in the end.

Women are dangerous. And a lot of bad things start with a woman saying, 'Would you do me a favor...'

Yeah. You're right. She may have done just what you are saying except there was nothing for her to gain in it. I wasn't her direct supervisor. I was just a coworker.

No. The reason I said that I would have been drug into the divorce is that...I think she loved me. That was the vibe I was getting. Her marriage was in trouble when she propositioned me (obviously). She was already scouting for a way out of her current marriage and looking for a new husband. Part of the reason I said no, is because I didn't want to consummate her feelings for me. I didn't want to give her the impression that she had an easy way out of her current marriage.

Women are crazy. Had I slept with her that night, I was fairly certain that I would get a call from her sooner or later saying, 'I left my husband, darling! Now we can be together forever!' The vibe I got from her was more than just sex. She really did like me a lot (obviously). A little too much. And I have to admit that I had some feelings for her too.

That's why it was so hard for me to control myself. It is amazing that I did. I just didn't want to make a mess.

A false allegation against me wouldn't have served what she was after. She could have hurt me with it, I mean at work. But she wouldn't have gained anything from it.

He didn't say every woman, he said women. It's like me saying "We tried to go to a new movie theater the other night, and I printed out directions on how to get there, but my husband was driving and wouldn't look at them.  Men are so bad at asking for directions."  It's a hyperbolic statement; we know instinctually that I don't literally mean every man in the whole world.  It's okay for you not to take what he said personally or feel insulted for all women of the world.

Don't worry about me.  I didn't take it personally, nor do I feel "insulted for all the women of the world."

But it's clear why his hyperbolic error didn't bother you.

You're really good at hyperbolizing yourself.

Incidentally, I use the word 'most' or 'some' when describing the problems men tend to have.  If I knowingly accuse all of what only some do, then I consider it dishonest.

Ergo, I don't do it.

And the statement "women are crazy" is still inaccurate.

Not interested in continuing this 'discussion' with you. My point has been made.

I'm sorry that every woman you know is crazy, but that is not a factual analysis, so you are wrong.

Uh yeah. It is a factual analysis. Woman are crazy. That's what makes them fun.

Sounds like the time I was trying to find a place in Little Italy and kept insisting 'I know where I'm going!'  We had a fantastic meal after I finally asked someone at a gas station where it was.

Later that night, she randomly decided to give me the silent treatment for something I'd said the previous year.  Good times.

Typical woman, make a statement that is supposed to be the end of the conversation and leave in a huff.

Crazy women:
Exhibit 1 - Aileen Wuornos

Exhibit 2 - Kristen Gilbert

Exhibit 3 - Andrea Yates

How odd.  I'm not even remotely 'in a huff.'  Projecting, are we??  I just don't wish to continue a pointless conversation.

And THIS, my young woman, is a pointless conversation.  :seeya:

Now I'm supposed to say, "I'm not crazy," and then you get to say, "That's why you're no fun."

You're predictable, Frank.

Been so busy today that I didn't have time to logon. I didn't know about this discussion. Just happened on it accidentally.

But, given that my 'Women are crazy.' remark stirred all this up, I feel that it is necessary for me to clarify.

What I meant to say is that 'in general', women are crazy. Not all women. Just 'women'.

And a woman "in love" is even crazier still. It is impossible to predict what they will do for love, or because of love.
A woman 'in love' is like a runaway train. It is going to go through anything that's in its way, and there ain't no stopping or reasoning with it.

That's my humble experience anyway. I hope this clears things up.

No explanation to me necessary.  My post was just a silly example of a time where a man and woman fell right into the stereotype.

It wasn't really a big deal.  I knew you were venting about a  (really!) crazy woman (and I know there are plenty of them).  I just wanted to point out the hyperbole.

I guess I hang around too many rational, kind, sensible men and women to fit in to some of the things that have been said around here lately about either gender.  There are SO many moral men and sane women out there, and I'm sad that apparently a lot of you don't know any of them.

I know lots of each.  In fact, those who are not are the exceptions.

But I guess that's the way things happen on discussion boards, eh?

Welcome back to Free republic where all step fathers are predatory child rapist/murderers and women need to know when to keep their damn fool mouths shut.

The thread in question was about live in boyfriends, not stepfathers.

Any woman with children who allows a live in boyfriend needs her head examined and clearly does not have the welfare of her children first.
