Students at Baylor University are pushing to have Matt Walsh’s speech on campus canceled. Walsh is a Christian conservative writer for The Daily Wireand Baylor is a private Christian university in Waco, Texas.

Walsh was invited by Baylor’s Young Americans for Freedom chapter to give a speech April 9 titled “The War On Reality: Why the Left has set out to redefine life, gender and marriage.”

Because of Walsh’s well-known traditionally conservative opinions on the topics, some Baylor students started a petition to block the speech from happening. The petition is titled “Stop Matt Walsh, Conservative Blogger, from Delivering Anti-LGBTQ Speech at Baylor,” and so far has garnered nearly 2,100 signatures.

If this doesn't portend some real serious problems in the future for America, nothing does.  On the other hand, they are just mimicking the "holy father" and his communist leanings. :thud:

I listened to a post that @truth_seeker posted by Bret Weinstein regarding the incident that he was the center of at Evergreen University.  http://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,357892.0.html (http://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,357892.0.html)

While Weinstein is pretty naive, in my opinion, about people in the real world and politics overall, his careful, thorough description of what happened to him and his wife (another professor there) gives you an idea of how bizarre, twisted and pervasive the SJW-type thinking is and why so many people are willing to buy into it.

It's sad that it's also happening at Baylor, but not at all unexpected.
