The CDC’s Latest Myocarditis Study is a Con Job
By W.A. Eliot

Stung by media reports of young athletes dropping dead seemingly often and everywhere, and sensitive to the claim that studies relying on the passive VAERS reporting system drastically underreport vaccine events including deaths, the CDC looked at Oregon death certificates in an effort to eliminate reporting bias on COVID-19 vaccination deaths.  Here are excerpts of the abstract of its April 11, 2024 study:

COVID-19 vaccination has been associated with myocarditis in adolescents and young adults, and concerns have been raised about possible vaccine-related cardiac fatalities in this age group…To assess this possibility, investigators searched death certificates for Oregon residents aged 16–30 years who died during June 2021–December 2022 for cardiac or undetermined causes of death. For identified decedents, records in Oregon’s immunization information system were reviewed for documentation of mRNA COVID-19 vaccination received ≤100 days before death…No death certificate attributed death to vaccination. These data do not support an association between receipt of mRNA COVID-19 vaccine and sudden cardiac death among previously healthy young persons. COVID-19 vaccination is recommended for all persons aged ≥6 months to prevent COVID-19 and complications, including death.

I know exactly what you’re thinking:  “There needs to be a quick and devastating published take down of its premises.  I don’t see anything like that on line yet — is it underway?”

Answer: Yes, right here.

The CDC admits there is a small probability of COVID vaccine-induced myo- or pericarditis (henceforth “myo”), see, e.g., here and here, but it can’t get itself to admit there is any measurable risk of COVID vaccine-induced myo death, even to the point of dishonesty.  So let’s do the calculations ourselves.

In an Israeli Pfizer study appearing in the October 2021 NEJM, the myo incidence for those aged 16-29 (virtually identical to the age group in the Oregon study) with at least one dose is 5.49 per 100,000, or 1 in 18,215.

Watch the incredible level of extremely childish pettiness displayed by Greek Eurovision contestant Marina Satti while Israeli contestant Eden Golan was being interviewed. However, don't blame Greece entirely for Satti's behavior. Although her mother is Greek, her father was a Sudanese Arab. It will be interesting to see if Satti will apologize SINCERELY for her horrible behavior or will she continue to act like a pathetic child.

Judge quashes Trump effort to subpoena documents from DA Bragg's investigation

Judge Juan Merchan has denied former President Trump’s request to subpoena Mark Pomerantz, a former prosecutor in the Manhattan District Attorney's office who left and then wrote a book.

According to a court filing, Trump had sought various documents from Pomerantz during his time as a special assistant district attorney. Trump wanted documents from Pomerantz from Feb. 2, 2021 to Feb. 23, 2022, including materials that dated up until a month before the prosecutor left the DA's office.

The judge wrote the requests “are far too broad and amount to and improper fishing expedition into general discovery." He also said Trump's legal team sought info on topics that are not relevant.

Republicans have claimed that Pomerantz was biased against Trump and politicized the investigation.

In a report released last month, the House Judiciary Committee argued the Manhattan District Attorney's Office "allowed political motivations and animus to infect its prosecutorial discretion."

The GOP-led committee released a 300-page report titled "An Anatomy of a Political Prosecution: The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office Vendetta Against President Donald J. Trump."

Pomerantz testified before the committee in a deposition as part of the investigation. Pomerantz declined to answer most questions, but told the committee that was largely due to the then-pending investigation into Trump.

Pomerantz, a donor to Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign, previously worked on the Trump investigation with ex-prosecutor Carey Dunne under District Attorney Alvin Bragg's predecessor, former Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance. Both Pomerantz and Dunne resigned after Bragg took the helm and raised doubts about pursuing a case against Trump.

After Pomerantz resigned, he wrote a tell-all book based on the investigation, which was still ongoing. The book seemingly made the case to charge Trump.

The committee quoted Pomerantz's book, which they said revealed "his animus, both personally and politically against Trump."

Pomerantz wrote in his book of his "enthusiasm to work on the investigation," but said it "had nothing to do with [his] views about Trump's politics." However, he admitted that he was "not a fan" of Trump, and "had little regard" for him.

I can smell this image ...

Me, too...

As a boy back in the '60s, having a cap gun meant hours of fun during the summer... playing war games while hiding behind trees and rocks, coming out to "blast" the "enemy" (really one of your friends, of course).

We used to pretend we were fighting the Germans or Japanese... probably because we didn't want to think about our older brothers, some of whom were off fighting in Vietnam.

Joe Biden's Social Media Team Did Not Just Tweet This
Matt Vespa

There’s no way the administration is this dense. They’re all wrong, of course, but no one on staff here can be this tone-deaf, can they? The president has been busted for cutting off bomb shipments to Israel to oppose their ongoing ground operation in Rafah, the last Hamas bastion in Gaza. If it continues, he warns more aid could be cut off. It’s why these developments make tweets like this look stupid:

https://twitter.com/POTUS/status/1788575316761362889

You cannot make this up.

You literally are leaving Israelis behind, Joe. Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran have attacked them, and you’re trying to tie their hands behind their back. It seems you’re angrier at Israel than Iran, which launched a ballistic missile salvo directly at the Jewish state not so long ago.

Is this about not losing Michigan? We get it—if you lose Michigan, your presidency is likely over. I also feel that this ‘suck up to the antisemites, proto-Nazis, and radical Islamic extremists in your party’ approach will lose twice as many American Jewish voters for every pro-Hamas clown you manage to keep in the Biden tent for 2024.

Entitled Illegal Immigrants Send Mayor Long List of Demands: 'Unlimited Showers, Fresh Food'
Sarah Arnold

 |  May 09, 2024 8:45 PM

Dozens of illegal immigrants in Denver issued a lengthy list of demands that they say must be met before they agreed to leave the encampments and move to shelters funded by the city.

The group of illegal aliens sent a list of 13 demands to Democrat Mayor Mike Johnston on Wednesday which include, access to a free immigration lawyer, fresh food, and unlimited showers.

The issue arose after Johnston petitioned to have the group moved to more permanent shelters.

Migrants will cook their own food with fresh, culturally appropriate ingredients provided by the City instead of premade meals- rice, chicken, flour, oil, butter, tomatoes, onions, etc... Also people will not be punished for bringing in and eating outside food.
Shower access will be available without time limits and can be accessed whenever- we are not in the military, we're civilians.
Medical professional visits will happen regularly and referrals/connections for specialty care will be made as needed.
All will receive that same housing support that has been offered to others. They cannot kick people out in 30 days without something stable established.
There needs to be a clear, just process before exiting someone for any reason- including verbal, written and final warnings.
All shelter residents will receive connection to employment support, including work permit applications for those who qualify.
Consultations for each person/family with a free immigration lawyer must be arranged to discuss/progress their cases, and then the City will provide on-going legal support in the form of immigration document clinics, and including transportation to relevant court dates.
The City will provide privacy for families/ individuals within the shelter.
No more verbal or physical or mental abuse will be permitted from the staff, including no sheriff sleeping inside & monitoring 24/7- we are not criminals and won't be treated as such.
Transportation for all children to and from their schools will be provided until they finish in 3 weeks.
No separating families, regardless of if family members have children or not. The camp will stay together.
The City must schedule a meeting with the Mayor & those directly involved in running the Newcomer program ASAP to discuss further improvements & ways to support migrants.
The City must provide all residents with a document signed by a City official in English & Spanish with all of these demands that included a number to call to report mistreatment.  Via the Daily Mail.

Denver Human Services spokesperson Jon Ewing said the city is working tirelessly to get the families inside the shelters rather than live on the privately owned property by railroad company Union Pacific for weeks.

He also said that the city is willing to work with the illegal immigrants toward finding a compromise such as allowing them to stay in a city shelter for up to seven days instead of the original three.

Denver has seen more than 40,000 illegal immigrants inhabit the city since last year, costing taxpayers over $68 million.

According to the mayor’s office, $35 million was spent between December 2023 and March alone.

Trump loves newspapers: testimony
By Kyle Schnitzer

Donald Trump attorney Susan Necheles has resumed her cross-examination of Madeleine Westerhout, with the pair talking about the front cover of the New York Times when Trump boarded Air Force One for the first time.

Westerhout testified that Trump was "proud" of the front cover, and that he often sent newspaper clippings to those close to him.

Asked if she probably saw Trump send clippings "thousands of times," Westerhout replied: "Yes."

Is This Biden’s ‘Supermarket Scanner’ Moment?

“They have the money to spend.” — President Joe Biden

Those of us who’ve been around a while remember when the press made an epic deal out of President George H.W. Bush’s apparent amazement at an ordinary grocery store checkout scanner. It turns out the story was a complete media fabrication, but it fed the narrative that Bush was hopelessly out of touch, and it helped cost him his reelection.

This week, Joe Biden actually did do something that shows he is perhaps the most clueless president in American history.

In a softball interview this week, CNN’s Erin Burnett let Biden carry on — uninterrupted — with his usual litany of lies.

That he created 15 million jobs (there’ve been less than 6 million net new jobs under Biden – about equal to Trump’s over the same period).
That Trump told people to inject bleach (a claim repeatedly debunked by fact-checkers).
That a million people died from COVID on Trump’s watch (fewer than 470,000 had died when Biden took office; more than 720,000 have died since).
That “we have got 1,000 billionaires in America. You know what their average federal tax is? Eight-point-three percent” (a completely made-up number that we wrote about here).
That “when I started this administration, people were saying there’s going to be a collapse of the economy” (nobody but Biden was saying that).

But then Burnett, to her credit, asked about inflation.

Anti-Israel protester, 16, arrested for vandalizing Central Park WWI memorial

A teenage anti-Israel protester who vandalized a World War I memorial in Central Park earlier this week has been arrested, according to the NYPD and police sources.

The 16-year-old boy was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, a felony, and making graffiti, which is a misdemeanor, for allegedly defacing the 107th Infantry Memorial during an unruly demonstration on Monday night.

The youngster has been a regular face at rallies organized by the anti-Israel group Within Our Lifetime, according to sources.

NYPD Deputy Commissioner Kaz Daughtry posted a blurred photo to X of the young vandal in handcuffs sitting on a bench in a police station. Sources had previously believed he was turned in by his dad Thursday night but cops have since refuted that.

“The despicable vandalism we saw earlier this week on the WWI Memorial will not be ignored, and will not go unpunished,” Daughtry tweeted as he announced one of the culprits’ arrest.

“This isn’t simply juvenile hijinks — it’s an act of desecration that undermines the freedoms our heroes fought and died for,” he added.

Sources said the youngster attends Tottenville High School and has no prior arrests.

The war memorial was defaced by several vandals who scrawled “Gaza” and “Free Palestine” on its base and plastered the statue with anti-Israel stickers.
