Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis privately tells donors he plans to fundraise for Trump, NBC News reports

Rumor has it that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has privately spoken with his donors, telling them that he plans to fundraise for former President Trump to help him get re-elected this year.
NBC News reports that three sources say that DeSantis made the claim at a private retreat last weekend. The former presidential candidate allegedly told his supporters about his intention at the gathering that took place on Saturday at South Florida’s Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
“He did say it in front of a group of people at the Hard Rock,” an unnamed DeSantis adviser reportedly told NBC News in an interview.
The source made it clear that DeSantis had vowed previously to support Republican candidates up and down the ballot, “including presidential” when he bowed out of the presidential race last January.

How do you come up with that? I see DeSantis as being a man of his word, you may recall he said he would support the republican candidate? That makes him not Trump mini me, it makes him totally opposite Trump who has really only ever about himself.

RDS, has been incredibly silent on DJT since luke warm endorsement. I'd say the mini-me comment is way off the mark.

I see that as doubtful as there are still those that wouldn't vote for Cruz because he endorsed Trump after Trump became the nominee. I think that will likely happen to DeSantis in 2028.
Trump has a way of truly sucking the wind out of conservatism.
