It is a Black Pride thing. Saw a Black talking head on some News show who said the quiet part outloud. She's a lawyer and speaks like any normal American. She said she speaks with a deliberate "Black accent" (you is, axe you somethin, etc.) as a tribute to her tribe. In Black culture they call this, "keepin it real".

On board a ship in the middle of the Pacific. New guy. Under 20 years. We decided to pants him for no reason at all. Just wanted to welcome him aboard. It was just some way to pass the time. The guy was screaming and yelling, he was fighting like a wildcat. We managed to do it when everything 'stopped'. It was like someone pressed the 'pause' button on a video. Everybody just stopped in place, looking down.
Turns out he had a micropenis. We did not know that. It wasn't even a real penis. It was more like a clitoris. We did not know. So we all apologized over and over again and slunk off to somewhere not here to finish up our embarrassment. Never did that again.

I came back from VN after running 6 man recon missions into Cambodia and Laos for 16 months (18 months was a typo/brain fart) before I was med-evaced due to Agent Orange infestations all over my torso that made it too painful to wear web gear and a rucksack.
6 months later I was out of the army,and living off of VA disability. Not much call for recon team leaders in civilian life,and nobody wants to hear about things like "toe poppers,claymores,tac air,being able to smell the blood in the air",etc,etc,etc. WHOLE different crowd than what I was used to being around.
Let's just say I was a bit on edge,drank a lot,and was not a whole lot of fun to be around.
The sad,sad truth was I was an adrenaline junkie.
Smoking pot helped a lot,but it damn sure didn't make me more social. If anything,I had less to say.
Then I started taking LSD and MDA,and my life/world changed just like the snap of a finger. I gained the ability to look inside myself to see and understand what was making me so hostile,and just like "THAT",all the anger and aggression disappeared. I also THOUGHT I was able to see the hostility in others and understand why there were hostile,and actually fell sorry for them instead of aggressive. Probably a pile of crap,but "I" believed it,and that was what was important to me.
Ok,MOST of it disappeared,but none of it showed itself unless someone was getting pushy with me. I not only did NOT start anything,I even tried to walk away from it.
I was not always successful trying to walk away from a fight,but I DID try.
In MY "book",if I try to walk away from it and you try to grab me or attack me,anything that happens to you at that point is YOUR fault,not mine.
I continued taking both hallucinates and smoking weed for several years. I was even able to drink whisky without getting hostile,but the truth is I lost my "taste" for it.
I quit drinking and smoking tobacco first,and not long after that I just quit doing all of it.
I seriously doubt I would have ever lived long enough to have healed my mind without the aid of LSD,MDA,and weed.
First I just ran out of acid and MDA,and just didn't bother trying to find more. Then I moved and ran out of friends to share a joint with,and smoking weed by yourself is no fun,so I quit doing that,too.

Of course,having said that,there IS a point where you HAVE to quit taking them and get back in touch with your new,or maybe even restored original reality,or you will be a lift-long mental case with a fried brain.
Most of these people,in fact EVERY single one that I met and knew were only a threat to themselves,and not anyone else,but then there are the "Charles Manson" type of personalities that were never on an even keel even at birth.
This is NOT the results of ANY sort of scientific study,just things I noticed over a few years as I was getting loaded fairly often.
I suppose some groups of scientists and behavioral specialists have written books about the benefits and the dangers of mind-altering drugs,but I never cared to read any of them.
Truth to tell,it was the mainstream media that was passing around the word that smoking pot would turn you into some sort of insane serial killer,and everybody that smoked pot KNEW that was a bunch of BS.
Ironically enough,it was the stupid scare tactics like that which led to a lot of people not being afraid to experiment with the chemical drugs. It SEEMS like most were lucky,but some went off on trips they never returned from and became walking human vegetables.
One thing is an absolute truth. If you are genetically predisposed to become addicted (alcoholism,etc,etc,etc runs in your family),you needed to stay the hell away from ALL illegal drugs,and to be very,very careful about taking some of the legally prescribed ones.
If alcoholism,for example, seems to run in your family,do NOT take any but prescription or over the counter drugs,and even then,be VERY moderate. I write this with every ounce of sincerity in me.

This is an oldie, but ...
Bubba, who just moved to Montana from Texas, walks into a bar and orders three mugs of beer.
He sits in the back of the room, drinking a sip out of each one in turn.
When he finishes them, he comes back to the bar and orders three more.
The bartender approaches and tells Bubba, “you know, a mug goes flat after I draw it. It would taste better if you bought one at a time.”

I was surprised that it was an "IN n' OUT" surgery.
On the table at 8:30AM... being driven home by my son at 2PM.
General anaesthesia ... got acute constipation from it. That was the worst thing about the whole event/procedure.
The surgeon looked and acted like Doogie Hauser...a little kid. He was the only surgeon in Kaiser Permanente DC Region that did the procedure. LOL!

My oldest son called me from Florida this week...told me he now gets a record from his bank where every expenditure with his credit/debit card is broken down into assorted assigned categories directly to his cell phone.

Why is it that the...most corpulent women(and some men) insist on wearing the tightest spandex or other elastic clothing possible? If they think it makes them look less obese I shudder at what they would be in regular clothing that at least would give some cover to their level of obesity. Also the times one of these crosses my path I am almost always left wondering how the hell they got into the damn things.

A feisty but elderly man had owned a large farm for several years and part of his holdings was a large pond on the far end of his property.
The small lake with freshwater rivers flowing in and out was ideal for taking a dip on any hot sunny day.
So in his free time, he fixed the watering hole up with nice with picnic tables, horseshoe courts, and some surrounding apple and peach trees.
One warm evening, the old farmer decided to go down to the pond since he hadn’t been there for a while. Grabbing a big white bucket to bring back some fruit he started out on the long walk to the remote area.
As he neared the pond, he heard voices shouting and laughing and there was much splashing and merriment. As he came closer, he saw the merriment was due to several young women who having chanced upon the small lake were taking the opportunity to do a little skinny-dipping in his pond.
As he drew closer, the young women were understandably alarmed. Now embarrassed and aware of his presence the youngsters scattered. Screeching, the nubile and naked women were aware of his presence.
As a group, they swam to the deep end. Then, one of the women shouted to him, ‘We’re not coming out until you leave!’
The old man frowned.
“I didn’t come down here to watch you ladies swim naked or make you get out of the pond naked.”

Holding the bucket up, he cried out, “I’m here to feed the crocodiles!”
