Mueller to testify before Congress on July 17
by Jerry Dunleavy
| June 25, 2019 09:16 PM
Former special counsel Robert Mueller will testify in front of an open session of Congress on July 17.
Ending weeks of speculation, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee Jerry Nadler announced Tuesday evening that Mueller has agreed to testify in front of the House Judiciary Committee and House Intelligence Committee in mid-July. Mueller, who had announced his reticence about testifying during his press conference in late May, agreed to testify, following subpoenas from the two committees.
I am pleased to announce that @HouseJudiciary and House Intel will have Special Counsel Robert Mueller testify in open session on July 17, pursuant to a subpoena issued this evening. https://t.co/wR0CEVqpJC (https://t.co/wR0CEVqpJC)
We look forward to having Mr. Mueller testify, as do all Americans. pic.twitter.com/UEKihMEYXI

He hasn’t testified under oath. In fact he probably hates the thought of it. But the rats are desperate to keep the scam rolling.

Depends if Trump wins in 2020, and if Pence is nominated in 2024...

True. I'm hoping that the GOP gets their chance to publicly question him and maybe finally put an end to this circus.
-
I wonder why Mueller's doing this after he clearly stated that he would not. Did his co-conspirators get to him?

I suspect that it is borne out of desperation on their part.... and that the plan is to have him tell a few "well crafted" LIES....

It will be a farce.

President Trump on Wednesday claimed without evidence that former special counsel Robert Mueller “terminated†records of communications between FBI agents who exchanged text messages during the campaign and Mueller’s investigation.
“Mueller terminated them illegally. He terminated all of the emails,†the president said in an interview with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo. “Robert Mueller terminated their text messages together. He terminated them. They’re gone. And that’s illegal. That’s a crime.â€

If it goes the way the Dems want...the second Tuesday in November of 2020.
-
This is a trap to force Congressional Republicans to actually read the report.

Technically it's the first Tuesday following the first Monday of November. 11/3/2020 (11/4 for Rats because they expect a heavy turnout...lol!).

Perhaps. I think they are just afraid to read it.

Maybe they read it and came to the same conclusions as the Attorney General? Just thinking out loud here...

Barr dismissed the legal arguments in the second half smear job probably written by that cretin Weisman. He implied that they were specious. Part two never should have been written.

Somebody, who should know better considering how enamored he was with the GOPe before Trump, is implying Republicans in Congress are either stupid or Trump toadies, which is bullshit. They detest Trump almost as much, but understand they want to keep their phony bologna jobs. They have more skin in the game than some puffed up keyboard warrior.
