Yep. From one side of insanity to the other.

I am back to saying there is no quick way to determine if a person who has consumed cannabis is fit to drive (unlike alcohol), which means such determinations will be subjective until there is. We have enough problems with alcohol influenced drivers, adding another drug as 'accepted' or decriminalized will only reduce the disincentive to operate a vehicle under the influence of that drug. Just getting busted for the pot in some jurisdictions was reason enough to avoid getting pulled over for driving stoned.

Neither prosecution is enough to keep some folks from driving under the influence, but the fewer out there, the better.

Nothing good can come of this... Nothing but trouble.
