I like this actor. Glad to know he will be ok

It seems no one is safe on the streets of the Big Apple these days — not even beloved hometown actor and Brooklyn native Steve Buscemi.

Buscemi, 66, was strolling through Kips Bay last week when a brute walked up and struck the “Boardwalk Empire” star in a broad-daylight attack — one of the latest unprovoked assaults in the five boroughs, law enforcement sources told The Post.

The actor suffered swelling to his face and left eye and was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, his deranged assailant took off and is still on the lam, police sources said.

Cohen testifies Trump called Stormy a 'beautiful woman' when they discussed the time they met

Cohen testified about a meeting with Trump in his Trump Tower office amid porn star Stormy Daniels' interview with TheDirty.com in 2011.

Cohen described the outlines of Daniels' allegations about an affair dating to a 2006 golf tournament. Cohen was asked if Trump told him anything about having met the porn star.

'He told me that he was playing golf with Big Ben Roethlisberger, the Pittsburgh Steelers star. 'They had met Stormy Daniels and others there,' Cohen testified.

Cohen cracked a smile when he described a boast by Trump where he stacked up well agains the football player. 'But she liked Mr. Trump and that women prefer Trump even over someone like Big Ben,' he said.

He said Trump didn't answer directly whether Trump and Daniels had sex. But Trump said she was a 'beautiful woman.' (Trump has called Daniels 'horse face' in tweets after she publicly accused him of the affair).

Trump told Cohen to 'take care' of Stormy Daniels story: testimony

Michael Cohen testified that when he first learned about Stormy Daniels' story in 2011, he knocked on Trump's door demanding to speak with the former president — who instructed him to "take care of it."

"After I received the information from Dylan Howard, I immediately went to Mr. Trump's office, knocked on the door. "Boss, I gotta speak to you," Cohen said.

Cohen said he learned about the story when he worked with Keith Davidson, Stormy's attorney, to get thedirty.com to remove a blog blog about the alleged affair.

According to Cohen: "I told him that one of the things that we need to do is obviously take care of it. He said, 'Absolutely. Do it, take care of it.'"

'Access Hollywood' tape blows up while Cohen is on holiday in London

Cohen is describing a dramatic email chain when Trump's camp learned about the infamous 'Access Hollyood' tape. 'Deny, deny, deny,' campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks wrote him.

'Please call me,' Cohen wrote Steve Bannon, who he misidentified as Trump campaign manager.

'It’s all over the place. Whose doing damage control here?' Cohen asked.

Asked why he would make such an inquiry, he responded, 'In order to protect Mr. Trump.'

Asked if he was concerned about the impact on the campaign,' he responded in the affirmative.

It was another effort by prosecutors to fill out his role with respect to the 2016 campaign.

Cohen asked Trump if he had sex with Stormy Daniels. His response? 'She's a beautiful woman'

Trump dodged the question when Cohen asked him in 2016 whether he had sex with Stormy Daniels, Cohen testified.

"No, ma’am," Cohen replied when a prosecutor asked him whether Trump answered.

"He turned around and said that she was a beautiful woman," Cohen recalled Trump telling him.

A "beautiful woman" is the same way that Trump described Karen McDougal, Cohen said.

Chris Cuomo texted Cohen about 'Access Hollywood' tape: 'He's dying right now'
By Kyle Schnitzer

Former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo texted Michael Cohen while he was in London with family about how he was going to handle the "Access Hollywood" tape — with Cuomo claiming Trump was "dying right now."

Cohen testified that Cuomo texted him on October 8, 2016 asking if he was going to defend Trump.

"You going to defend him?" Cuomo asks, which Cohen responded by saying, "I'm in London."

Cohen went on, "I have been asked by everyone to do shows starting Tuesday," and then followed up with another text, saying, "Not sure what I will do."

Cuomo then texted Cohen insinuating it could kill Trump's campaign.

"Will be too late. He is dying right now," Cuomo said in the text.

When asked who Cuomo referred to as "dying," Cohen testified that he meant Trump.

"When he referred to he, he meant Mr. Trump. That he meant this is a tremendously negative story in regard to the Trump campaign," Cohen testified.

This was about a month before the election, Cohen testified, and that it would impact "especially with women votes."
