I watched Helen Hunt's "The Sessions" today-it is available On Demand. It was a good movie. Not for everyone, but I liked it.
Helen Hunts looks good, I just don't like Anne Hathaway for some reason, and Charlize Theron is a beauty and carries herself so elegantly.

Jennifer Lawrence's dress looks like a wedding dress if you ask me.I thought the dresses in most of the first photos posted here looked like wedding dresses. Not very imaginative, IMO.

So he is on Family Guy? Wondered where he came from. I have to admit that clip made me laugh.

I can't really explain Life of Pi, it is one of those movies that you just go "duh" after seeing.
Without posting spoilers, the movie is really nothing more than a somewhat decent but confusing plot with a lot of nice CGI. That to me is not enough to win Best Picture.
I see "Argo" won Best Pic which upsets me because it is Liberal bovine excrement masquerading as being based on fact.
You make a valid point, LoaH, but I am capable of reading the assessments of others who do know.
??? What??? How so? Strong statement for someone who admits hasn't even seen any of this stuff.
In fact, accepting the views of others who are informed is what we all do on a variety of subjects, not just films. And, btw, I am dubious about the "facts" presented in any film out of Hollywood, especially those dealing with history or politics, until I know better.

Renee Zellweger and Kristen Stewart might have stolen the show last night at the Oscars, but not necessarily in a good way.
Their odd behavior as presenters at the 85th Annual Academy Awards caused viewers to tweet up a storm, with many suggesting that the usually composed starlets were inebriated during the broadcast.
