Just Breaking..

Darn! Really wanted Eillison!

Ellison deputy chairman.

Darn! Really wanted Eillison!
Me too although he is being appointed Deputy Chair
-
Ellison deputy chairman.
Not a bad consolation prize...
-
That is disappointing. I really wanted the Dems to run off the cliff. But, I guess they're not quite that crazy, yet.
-
Ellison and Perez had lunch before the debate with each saying he would support the other. So, this was the plan whichever one won.
-
Perez looks a tad more evil than does Podesta. Maybe you can tell a book by its cover.
-
Just Breaking..
Disappointing. The lesser of two evils won.
-
Dammit! I so wanted it to be Ellison. That would have guaranteed a Republican majority for years.
-
This will give Ellison time to moderate his image, distance himself from the Black Panthers/Farrakhan, and run for the Senate. He is simmering on the back burner patiently waiting for his time to come.
-
So the DNC hates Muslims?
-
Ellison deputy chairman.
I'm guessing Ellison sets the agenda and talking points, Perez will be the party's "face"....until Ellison can oust him.

This is only my opinion, but I think Ellison is looking past the DNC chairmanship. I think his goals are much bigger.
-

That's funny, I don't care who you are! :silly:

I saw what you did there. That cuts five different ways.
-
Tom Perez = Karl Marx. Perfect for today's democrat party.
-
Darn! Really wanted Eillison!
Don't worry. He is not going away.
-
Tom Perez is the epitome of what is the Democrat Party.
A son of Hispanic refugees, a Harvard lawyer, a long-time govt tenure including working in the Civil Rights Division and was chiefly responsible for dismissing the prosecution of the Black Panthers voter intimidation case.
The only thing missing is he has not undergone the TG operation, but he just might yet to complete the qualifications to lead the DNC.

Congratulations to Thomas Perez, who has just been named Chairman of the DNC. I could not be happier for him, or for the Republican Party!
-
Ouch.

Ouch.
So many gripe about Trump's tweets, but that one hit the mark. :silly:

WHITE VOTING RIGHTS 475WHITE VOTING RIGHTS 475
BREAKING: Dems Newly elected Chair for DNC makes OUTRAGEOUS RACIST comment about WHITE PEOPLE’S Voting RIGHTS…
Democrats voted in a racist to be the new head the DNC. Not only racist but his comment infers that he doesn’t see anything wrong with voter fraud…. WOW, from Wasserman to this? What are Dems thinking?
As reported by Gateway Pundit:
New DNC Chair fits right in with the values of the Democratic party, especially when it comes to victimizing minorities and labeling white people as privileged.
An investigation into Perez revealed extreme views he holds according to A Review of the Operations of the Voting Section of the Civil Rights Division conducted by the Office of the Inspector General Oversight and Review Division in March of 2013. Perez told investigators that white people were not entitled to protection under the Voting Rights Act according to a report from the Washington Free Beacon.

I would have expected no less from the democrat party.

This title is retarded even for you, @rangerrebew .
I suppose you'll soon be whining about invective employed by other members.

In fairness he changed the title.

This is why I did not want Perez to win the election for Democrat National Chairman. I watched their debate and heard his views on election "fraud" and the Voting Rights Act. Perez is a CIVIL RIGHTS LAWYER.
I was dismayed at his statements and the gist of it stuck in my mind, thinking we were going to have hell from him if he won. He is stuck on this as one of his major goals and being a Civil Rights lawyer, he knows how to make a case. Here it is:
He said, Republicans ARE keeping minorities from voting, they pass picture ID laws, knowing minorities can't get to a place to get an ID, it costs them money they don't have so they can't get them, and said this must be stopped. That was his major one, plus others I don't recall. He is going to hammer Republicans about actually, on purpose, keeping minorities from voting. He will stay on this from now on in his speeches across the nation. Darn, there he is now on CNN,blasting Republicans. Rats, he said Trump has twitted that their election was "totally rigged". (If you took great, really great, bigly, rigged, out of Trump's vocabulary, he couldn't speak). Back to minorities and voting:
He doesn't think the Civil Rights Act pertains to whites because it is non-white minorities that the Act was designed for - to keep Republican whites from preventing non-whites from voting. I would not be surprised, since he is a civil rights lawyer, if he filed a suit against Republican Secretary of States whose state has picture ID laws.
-
You don't need a picture ID to cash a welfare check? To get AFDC or whatever they call it now?

@Smokin Joe
You are using rational thinking and that has no validity in in Perez's thinking. I also recall he said non-whites have to travel "hundreds" of miles to get a picture ID. That is not rational, either.

Hundreds of miles makes perfect sense, if they start in Central America.
Even in North Dakota (and we're pretty well spread out), the farthest one would have to travel would be about 70 miles--for someone who can't get a Tribal ID. The folks the Dems are wailing about don't have to go that far.

Every state that has picture ID can go to the Secretary of State's website and locations are given there to obtain a picture ID. If a person has a driver's license, they have a picture ID. They can also go to a Driver's License facility and get a picture ID for free.

Yep. 70 miles is about as far as it gets from a DMV office here (then the next one over is closer). There is a fee for a picture ID (non-Driver's license).

@Smokin Joe
Texas doesn't charge for a picture ID at driver's license locations.
-
I thought Perez was running for the head of the DNC...not the Chairmanship of CP USA. :pondering:

That's nice, but this ain't Texas, here.

Samey-same.
