For many reasons, next Democratic debate won’t be like the others - The Boston Globe
Shirley Leung
I wrote about the 11th, penultimate Democratic debate on Monday, but, of course, the world has changed since then.
The event is still scheduled to take place Sunday night from 8 to 10, but it has been moved from Arizona to Washington, D.C. It was first set in Arizona because the state, along with Florida, Illinois, and Ohio, will hold its primary on Tuesday. Also, there will not be a live audience, as originally planned, when Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders take the stage.

The Immigration Debate Democrats Need
James Gibney, Bloomberg•March 12, 2020
(Bloomberg Opinion) -- America’s immigration laws, which received their last major overhaul three decades ago, are fundamentally broken. Yet the future of U.S. legal immigration rarely surfaced during the dozen Democratic debates held since last June. This weekend’s debate offers Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders what may be the Democrats’ last chance to fill in that blank.
Yes, previous debates have featured plenty of podium-thumping denunciations of President Donald Trump’s inhumane asylum policies, vows of support for Dreamers and promises to restore America’s values and reputation as a nation of immigrants. Of the 25 questions that moderators asked about immigration (about 6% of all debate questions), however, all but two involved some aspect of unauthorized immigration.
For Democrats at least, the debate over what to do about the 11 million or so undocumented people already in this country isn’t much of a debate. Even when the field held more than 20 candidates, all of them backed a path to citizenship for those living here, a position supported by two-thirds of all Americans. (Michael Bloomberg, the founder and majority owner of Bloomberg LP, was a Democratic candidate until he endorsed Joe Biden on March 4.)

Okay, show time, why was Bernie saying "EBOLA CRISIS", I swear he said that twice....
I'm going to watch to see if they have Biden strapped in his chair so he doesn't wander off camera.

Bernie has an opportunity tonight. He could talk about student loan forgiveness; nationwide moratorium on evictions; for those awaiting trial in prison - we can let you go home; for homeless people - we have open schools & hotels. Bernie could change the race tonight. #CNNdebate
Sanders says now isn't the time for finger-pointing at China
Sanders would consider deploying the military to address the virus

Biden confuses the Swine Flu with Coronavirus, then says “N1H15†instead of H1N1.

Hey Bernie, the reason we don't have enough doctors or rural hospitals is because Obamacare 1) caused a number of doctors to retire early 2) shuttered rural hospitals because the law was completely unaffordable.

Looking at Biden and Bernie, neither one of them look Presidential, they both look frail and emaciated. They can't handle a crisis; they both look like they're in crisis.

Unbelievable.
Both Biden and Bernie just backed sanctuary cities.
Wanting our laws to be enforced does not make you a “xenophobe,†Joe.
We cannot afford either of them as President!

Watching this Democrat debate for a few minutes: that the Left claims these clearly too-old-for-the-job, curmudgeonly, deeply unimpressive lifelong politicians have the answers to this country’s current crises is both absurd and pathetic

Biden is full of empty platitudes tonight. “Leadership. International leadership. Send experts to China. Send experts to the Situation Room.†No answers. Just platitudes.

I must say, that was a VERY boring debate. Biden lied when he said I want to cut Social Security and Medicare. That’s what they ALL said 4 years ago, and nothing happened, in fact, I saved Social Security and Medicare. I will not be cutting, but they will. Be careful!
