Lets' see the details first before going off half cocked..  Like Bongino says wait 5 days until all the info comes out.

Is the 44% only on accounts or transactions worth 10 million or more and will never affect 99.999 of Americans?

Billioniares do need to pay more. Bezos pays the equivalent of 1% of taxes each year or around there.

President Joe Biden turned the 108th White House Correspondents’ Dinner — which was historically viewed as a comedic event — into a political stump speech against “extreme MAGA Republicans.” In addition to celebrating the ongoing criminal trials against former President Donald Trump, an angry Biden scolded the press for what he deemed to be unflattering coverage.

President Biden frequently echoed his dark, “extreme MAGA” rhetoric throughout the event. “I had a great stretch since the State of The Union,” Biden told the assembled crowd of corporate journalists and Hollywood celebrities. “But Donald has had a few tough days lately,” he continued with a smirk. “You might call it ‘Stormy weather.’ What the hell!”

Throughout the majority of the speech, Biden droned on with ominous language while frequently describing his political opponents as enemies of the state. He even repeated a recent media hoax by accusing Trump of vowing a “bloodbath” if he wins re-election.

“He promised a bloodbath, when he loses again. We have to take this seriously,” Biden said.

Our Tanks Aren't Doing Much for Ukraine
Jazz Shaw

Last year, the United States sent 31 of our nearly top-of-the-line Abrams M1A1 tanks to Ukraine. (I say "nearly" because we are already producing the upgraded M1A2 model.) Zelensky had been begging for them, insisting that they were the key to breaking through the Russian lines when Ukraine launched its summer counteroffensive. Well, we all saw how that worked out. The counteroffensive stalled and now the Russians are advancing and driving back Ukraine's forces on the eastern front. But what of our tanks? This week, Ukraine pulled the remaining tanks from the front lines. The tanks had reportedly become sitting ducks for Russian drone and missile strikes. More than a quarter billion dollars worth of military hardware has now apparently been sidelined or destroyed. (NPR)

Ukraine has sidelined U.S.-provided Abrams M1A1 battle tanks for now in its fight against Russia, in part because Russian drone warfare has made it too difficult for them to operate without detection or coming under attack, two U.S. military officials told The Associated Press.

The U.S. agreed to send 31 Abrams to Ukraine in January 2023 after an aggressive monthslong campaign by Kyiv arguing that the tanks, which cost about $10 million apiece, were vital to its ability to breach Russian lines.

But the battlefield has changed substantially since then, notably by the ubiquitous use of Russian surveillance drones and hunter-killer drones. Those weapons have made it more difficult for Ukraine to protect the tanks when they are quickly detected and hunted by Russian drones or rounds.

Five of the thirty-one tanks have been destroyed by missiles or "killer drones." The Ukrainian forces also reportedly lack the necessary parts and experience to perform the required maintenance on them. Obviously, the Russians have no fear of destroying our hardware. Why would they? We sent the tanks over to be used against them, so the tanks are obvious targets. An Abrams is pretty difficult to hide out in the open, also. This isn't a coyote and roadrunner cartoon.

Interesting.  This implies that drones are essentially making tanks obsolete.

Dear Idiot Protestors
Kevin McCullough
4–5 minutes

Websters defines “idiot” as a “stupid person” or a “person of low intelligence.”

Lenin found idiots “useful” if while in their state of low intelligence he could manipulate them to propagandize the masses.

Lenin and Stalin were said to privately despise idiots but found them extremely helpful in keeping society “loyal” under their tyrannical grasp.

Sadly with the departure of the Soviet Union neither their idiots nor their usefulness seem to have been extinguished. In fact those who foment hate against what is good have found their numbers to be necessary in order to achieve the level of media exposure they have as it pertains to the pro-terrorist demonstrations taking place on American campuses.

This morning’s headlines are the most recent example. We in America awoke to a story that had been sourced from the Hamas terror group and amplified by the useful idiots at CNN. The story claims that “mass graves” are being found in Gaza next to hospitals where the IDF has supposedly been burying all of the victims of the Gaza conflict.

Whether a pre-planned Hate-Trump set-up or just Hate-Trump opportunism, it's pretty obvious why Smithyroo tried to suppress this exculpating, almost certainly Brady, evidence. Chooo-ooo-choooooooo!

Definitely Brady material.

They work so well for orcish tanks! :silly:

Less sarcastically, those are materials and people-hours not used against Ukraine. And I'm sure firefighters will love those contraptions when Ukraine starts fires.

You are another person who hates ev's because conservatives have been told to hate ev's.
No. This conservative doesn't "hate EVs," and I doubt anyone at TBR hates inanimate objects like electric vehicles. We also tend to think for ourselves. No one has told me what to think about electric vehicles.

This conservative knows that an EV is not practical for where I live or my needs. This conservative doesn't want the government to take away my gasoline-powered vehicle and force me either to stay home, walk 7 miles to the closest grocery store, or buy an extremely expensive and inefficient vehicle that is inappropriate for my climate and terrain.

This week in Florida, Judge Aileen Cannon unsealed a trove of new documents that Jack Smith fought to keep hidden. And you'll soon find out why. Among the documents unsealed were extensive exhibits, motions, and other filings shedding light on the intricate web of communication between the Biden White House and the National Archives and Records Administration in the lead-up to Trump's indictment.

Investigative journalist Julie Kelly found something interesting in the documents that could change everything. The first things is testimony from an FBI agent who testified that the General Services Association (GSA) had been in possession of Trump's boxes in Virginia before ordering Trump's team to come get them.
...
"So an entire pallet full of boxes that had been held by GSA somewhere outside of DC is dumped at Mar-a-Lago," Kelly notes. "Apparently these are the boxes that ended up containing papers with 'classified markings.'"

"I will double check indictment but I don't recall this event in the timeline," she added.

So, it appears that the Biden administration may have been responsible for shipping classified information to Trump's Mar-a-Lago home in Florida. This development is significant because Trump has previously blamed the GSA for packing the boxes that contained the classified documents, only to later accuse Trump of essentially stealing them and using that as pretext for sending the  FBI to raid his Mar-a-Lago home in August 2022.

Whether a pre-planned Hate-Trump set-up or just Hate-Trump opportunism, it's pretty obvious why Smithyroo tried to suppress this exculpating, almost certainly Brady, evidence. Chooo-ooo-choooooooo!
