banddag/sinkspur wins again by destroying another thread.

When will you folks learn about the "ignore" option?

I pointed out a legitimate point of the article that was missing which really makes a difference to the outcome of the story.

Are you so thin skinned you cannot hear any other side of the story?

If you want to hear only one side and become ignorant and stupid be my guest.

BTW This will be  my last post.

Some of you are  truly the  most misinformed people I have ever met. Some of you have been extremely gracious

What is scary is some of you do know  how stupid and ignorant you really are.

Continue to run off people with a viewpoint other than your own

This site will continue to be a extremely small echo chamber and will eventually die.

Thank you Nancy for allowing me to express my opinion.

@mystery-ak

BTW yes, I am a retread. Posted here a few times 10 years ago?? Was not booted off could not remember my p/w/username or email...and I am not Sinkspur.

History is filled with death and destruction waiting for sane people to prevail. In short it is littered with people's lives that weren't so lucky.

No one is going to take away your car or stop you from driving on weekends or any other time. It would destroy our economy for starters. Even the German greenies said it was a stupid idea.

That AT did not mention the greenies and politicians said it was stupid and would never happen tell you all you need to know about AT.

RW Misinformation and scaremongery at it's  finest.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Iran’s first Vice President Mohammad Mokhber was appointed acting president of the Islamic Republic on Monday after the death of President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash.

Mokhber, 68, has largely been in the shadows compared to other politicians in Iran’s Shiite theocracy. Raisi’s death Sunday thrust Mokhber into public view. He is expected to serve as caretaker president for some 50 days before mandatory presidential elections in Iran.

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei made the announcement of Mokhber’s appointment in a condolence message after the crash. The helicopter was found Monday in northwestern Iran.

Despite his low-key public profile, Mokhber has held prominent positions within the country’s power structure, particularly in its bonyads, or charitable foundations. Those groups were fueled by donations or assets seized after Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, particularly those previously associated with Iran’s shah or those in his government.

Mokhber oversaw a bonyad known in English as the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order, or EIKO, referring to the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.

The U.S. Treasury said the organization oversaw billions of dollars in assets as “a business juggernaut under the direct supervision of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei that has a stake in nearly every sector of the Iranian economy, including energy, telecommunications, and financial services.”

“EIKO has systematically violated the rights of dissidents by confiscating land and property from opponents of the regime, including political opponents, religious minorities, and exiled Iranians,” Treasury said in 2021 in sanctioning Mokhber. The European Union also sanctioned Mokhber for a time with others over concerns then about Iran’s nuclear program.

Balsamic vinegar makes a good marinade as well.

The number of innocent babies slaughtered by Hamas cowards pales in comparison to the butchery of Planned Parenthood.

Many American men are in prison for murdering unborn babies, but not one woman.  This is a perverse double standard of injustice.

'Holy [bleep]. They did it!' Biden sends condolences over 'Butcher of Tehran' death

WND 5/20/2024

'This statement from the State Department makes absolutely no sense'

Ebrahim Raisi, the Iranian official killed over the weekend in a helicopter crash, was not just the president of Iran.

He was the "Butcher of Tehran," known for holding five-minute "trials" for thousands of his own people and then sending them immediately to the execution squads.

And for this killer, who terrorized his own people, who had attempted to assassinate American officials including former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who, by many assessments was a mass murderer, Joe Biden sent "condolences."

The statement actually was attributed to "spokesperson" Matthew Miller of the State Department under Biden, and said, "The United States expresses its official condolences for the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Amri-Abdollahian, and other members of their delegation in a helicopter crash in northwest Iran. As Iran selects a new president, we reaffirm our support for the Iranian people and their struggle for human rights and fundamental freedoms."

The @statedept  send its condolences on the death of Ebrahim Raisi.

Raisi was overseeing the Ministry of Intelligence’s efforts to assassinate senior former U.S. diplomats, including Secretary Blinken’s predecessor, @mikepompeo
, and my former boss Brian Hook.

But ... that's roughly $16.00/rib-eye.  Really not too bad if the quality is there.

When you live by yourself, freezing 4 steaks long-term, just to save $10 per steak isn't sound budgeting.

If they sold 2 for $32, I'd pull the trigger.

They just did that so it would blend in better on the pizza! Fiends!
