Cheney to any Trump-backed challenger: 'Bring it on'
By Lexi Lonas - 05/12/21 03:03 PM EDT

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) indicated in an interview with NBC News that she is ready for a primary against any Republican who supports former President Trump.

“Bring it on,” Cheney said in a preview clip of the interview with NBC’s “Today” co-anchor Savannah Guthrie that is set to air on Thursday morning, Today reported.

Cheney was ousted from her leadership position in the House on Wednesday as Republicans saw her as dividing the party over her comments speaking out against Trump and his election fraud conspiracy theories.

Cheney was asked if her remarks against Trump were "a battle for the soul of the Republican Party.”

"This is the opening salvo in that battle, and it's a battle we have to win because it's not just about the Republican Party; it's about the country,” Cheney responded.

Yes, it's about the country.

The legislature of Wyoming should pass a law restricting primary election participation to only those registered to a political party, with no cross-over voting allowed.

Rodents have no right interfering in the candidates the Americans decide to run in the general election.   If they want to vote in the GOP races, they should need to register as a Republican and voted in a general November election before being allowed to enter the GOP primary.

What can be fairer than that?
