"African Diaspora" is a term in common use for the slave trade's dispersal of black slaves from Brazil through the Caribbean north to British colonies in what is now the US East Coast. The term is not, of itself, racist or race-baiting. There probably was a race-baiting line in LIEden's speech at that point, but he muffed it. Maybe it was too obscure and convoluted, maybe LIEden messed up.

LOL!  My money says the Hunter Pardon is already signed...only the date has to be plugged in.

He may not even by POTUS by the Convention, but I don't see Gavin Newsom, aka "Pretty Boy-Floyd" as the draft pick.

We do indeed live in "Interesting Times".

Big Mike?

Trump is more libertarian on LBGTQRS issues than social conservatives

I was trying to think of something libertarian about Trump and was coming up blank, that is a good example.

Agreed .... who knows who is going to emerge as the DEM nominee at the convention.  My bet is it isn't going to be evil Joe.

If Trump gets as much as 35% of Santa Clara County's vote it will gast my flabber. There have been Silicon Valley execs boosting Dem Presidential candidates at least since the execs of Tandem Computers and Silicon Graphics hosted speeches at their companies for Bill Clinton in 1992. Both companies are long defunct, so don't worry if you've never heard of them. Tandem (not Tandy Corporation, owner of Radio Shack) was my employer at the time, so I was less than thrilled (attendance was voluntary, of course).

Runing a restaurant these days is pretty tough job and government keeps throwing more knives into their backs. Particularly in California.
7
Perhaps you just refuse to see them. I'm done with this.

The Record unequivocally says otherwise.

No, they're not.

See Toricelli --> Lautenberg.

That was a modest "switcheroo". Seemed audacious at the time.

There may be a much larger one come the DCommunist convention.

Quote
Joe Biden is in Wilmington, Delaware, for yet another vacation. He did, however, take a brief sojourn from the vacation to go to West Point to deliver the commencement address.

At West Point, Biden had to take a walk to get to the stage after they announced him. It was concerning to watch how he moved forward in that stilted fashion that he has, with the "Mr. Burns" empty look on his face:

(snip)

Then Biden completely messed up the point of "we lead by the power of our example, not the example of our power."

"Never forget that America is the strongest when we lead not only by the example of our power but the power of our example," he said. Then no one clapped, and that apparently irked him. "You can clap for that," he groused.

Then came the diplomas.  But this was something else. After Biden had been handing out the diplomas for a short while, he was interrupted by one of the West Point officials and moved to the back. You can hear the officer say, "Let's crank it up," and then they had to speed up the process:

Well, at least the S-400 detected the ATACMS and tried to intercept. That seems to be better than many/most do before going boom. yogi555
