Dems react the same way when Republicans gerrymander like they have been doing since 1812.

Mississippi Billboard Reminds Would-Be Criminals: ‘Firing Squad Is Legal. Think Twice’

AWR Hawkins 10 May 2026

A billboard standing next to I-55 in DeSoto County, Mississippi, reminds would-be criminals entering the state that a “firing squad is legal” for executions and urges them to “think twice.”

The Hill reported that DeSoto County District Attorney Matthew Barton is promoting the billboard campaign, saying, “We are going to be loud and clear that DeSoto County does not coddle violent criminals. If you bring violence across our state line, we are going to prosecute you aggressively and hold you accountable.”

“People on death row are the losers of life’s lottery… If violent criminals are looking for a state that coddles crime, Mississippi is not it,” he continued. “They’d better think twice before they act here.”

WREG quoted Barton noting, “Safety is achieved through enforcement. Safe communities do not happen by accident. They happen because law enforcement officers, prosecutors, judges, and citizens refuse to surrender their communities to violent criminals.”

Even if it isn't the truth, it would entice enemies to take advantage of a believed shortage, and engage in conflict. His statements are eliminating the deterrent of having a full inventory.

Time for him to put a sock in it.

The safe removal of all enriched uranium from Venezuela sends another signal to the world of a restored and renewed Venezuela. Thanks to President Trump’s decisive leadership, the teams finished in months what would have normally taken years.

Urgent Operation Demonstrated Unique Nonproliferation Capabilities and Close Cooperation with International Partners

In a win for America, Venezuela, and the world, the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA), working with partners, completed the removal of all remaining enriched uranium from a legacy research reactor in Venezuela.

“The safe removal of all enriched uranium from Venezuela sends another signal to the world of a restored and renewed Venezuela,” said Brandon Williams, NNSA Administrator. “Thanks to President Trump’s decisive leadership, the dedicated teams on the ground completed in months what would have normally taken years.”

President Trump and Secretary of State Rubio’s three-phase plan for Venezuela fast-tracked the retirement of this nuclear risk, marking another historic milestone for DOE. Following DOE Secretary Wright’s visit to Venezuela in February, in a matter of weeks, NNSA’s Office of Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation (DNN) worked with Department of State personnel in Washington and Caracas alongside experts from the United Kingdom, the Venezuelan Ministry of Science and Technology, and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to prepare for a site assessment to inform removal planning.

 Excerpt from the article:

Senator Mark Kelly just did something that would get any normal person in serious trouble — he went on national television and spilled details from a classified Pentagon briefing about America’s depleted munitions stockpiles.

On CBS’s Face the Nation, Kelly told host Margaret Brennan that after receiving a detailed classified briefing on the impact of U.S. strikes against Iran, he was “shocked” by how deeply we’ve dipped into our weapons reserves. He specifically named Tomahawk missiles, ATACMS, SM-3s, THAAD rounds, and Patriot interceptors, claiming it will take “years” to replenish them and that this makes America less safe in a potential conflict with China.

Lock the traitor up and send him to GITMO.

He just let our enemies worldwide know that our stockpiles are low, that is, if that's the truth, but it really doesn't matter if it's true or not if it was classified then he needs to be held accountable.

I realize that but Nuclear is Nuclear. Either they have enough for 11 or enough for 200, big difference between 11 and 200.

The difference is between the TYPES of nuclear weapon materials. The 11 are made using uranium, the other 200 are made using plutonium. So they have, in total, 211 potential nuclear weapons.

The 11 are easy to make compared to the 200 plutonium weapons, which require testing, unless given help from North Korea, Pakistan, China, or Russia.
