After close review, Donald Trump officially wins blue-state Michigan

Republican President-elect Donald Trump won the state of Michigan by a little over 10,000 votes, according to a Wednesday report by the Detroit Free Press.

The actual total was 10,704, and the official total comes from the state’s 83 county clerks after the results were reviewed and certified. Although this is the official count, the results will be reviewed on Nov. 28 by the Michigan Board of Canvassers. The state’s 16 electors will vote in the electoral college on Dec. 19.

Trump should count his blessings for the fact that the democrats had a nominee only marginally less likeable than himself.

Rubio or Kasich might have been able to pull off some of these wins, but I don't think that whole set of states, Pa., Oh., Mi. and Wi.

Those blue parts are what I call "welfare alley." The populations through there are most "people of color."
