Trump Endorses Freedom Caucus Chairman’s Primary Opponent

Former President Donald Trump endorsed the primary opponent of Republican Virginia Rep. Bob Good, the chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, on Tuesday.

Trump announced his support behind Republican state Sen. John McGuire of Virginia via a post on Truth Social. Trump has often attacked Good in recent months after Good endorsed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for president in 2023.  (RELATED: Trump Announces He Will Commute Sentence Of ‘Silk Road’ Founder If Elected President)

The primary election for Virginia’s 5th Congressional District is just weeks away on June 18.

“Bob Good is BAD FOR VIRGINIA, AND BAD FOR THE USA. He turned his back on our incredible movement, and was constantly attacking and fighting me until recently, when he gave a warm and “loving” Endorsement – But really, it was too late,” Trump posted. “The damage had been done! I just want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and the person that can most help me do that is Navy Seal and highly respected State Legislator, John McGuire, a true American Hero. John, who fought the Cartels on the Front Line, and then came home and fought the drug dealers in Virginia, will ALWAYS PUT AMERICA FIRST.”

“Good won’t be electable when we get done with him,” Trump campaign manager Chris LaCivita said earlier this year, according to Cardinal News. Good endorsed Trump after DeSantis dropped out of the presidential race.....................

Marine Corps Stand-In Forces: A House of Cards
By Anthony Zinni & Jerry McAbee
May 28, 2024
U.S. Marine Corps

How did the United States Marine Corps transform itself from the world’s premier expeditionary force-in-readiness to a poor parody of the French Maginot Line in just four years? In his Force Design 2030 plan, the 38th Commandant of the Marine Corps radically redesigned and restructured the Marine Corps to operate as a defensively oriented, narrowly specialized regional force under Navy command to attack and sink Chinese warships in the South China Sea. This new mission came at the expense of providing much needed crisis response and global force projection capabilities to all Geographic Combatant and Functional Commands in an increasingly unstable world. The crown jewel of this new warfighting organization are called Stand-in Forces (SIFs), which are small isolated detachments of Marines, armed with anti-ship missiles, persistently spread across islands in the so-called “contested” areas of hostilities: specifically the first island chain.

To fund these largely experimental units, the Marine Corps divested proven capabilities needed to fight and win today anywhere in the world, an unwise and unproven approach termed “divest to invest.” The Corps jettisoned all its tanks and bridging, most of its cannon artillery and assault breaching, and much of its infantry and new, state-of-the art aviation at a time when these certain capabilities are showing to be critical in ongoing conflicts.

In an act that can only be described as negligence, the Commandant reduced the Corps’ long-standing requirement for 38 amphibious ships to 31 and stood silent as the Navy decimated the Maritime Prepositioning Squadrons (MPS) by reducing their numbers from 3 to 2 and the total number of ships from 17 to 7.  The loss of MPS ships together with the reduction in the number of major amphibious assault ships – and their poor state of maintenance and availability – make it doubtful that the Marine Corps has the capability to project even a limited Marine Expeditionary Force in time to influence events before or after hostilities commence.

And as Blanche goes after Cohen, he has to walk a fine line.  Remember, President Trump’s detractors will say – if this guy who was one of his closest employees/confidants was also very shady and underhanded – why did Trump put so much trust in him?  Does that say something about the defendant and his judgment about who was surrounding him and handling his issues? Was this guy in Trump’s employ BECAUSE he was able to get shady things done? Blanche also weaving in the frustrations Cohen had (the lower bonus) and going back over the calculations that lead to the admission that Cohen took more money than he was owed.  Again, planting the seeds that Cohen:  1.  Felt vengeful (which his testimony has only bolstered) and 2. That he cheated his own boss.

Trump can win the 2024 Presidential Election ... even if he is criminally convicted.  Biden is that bad (for the unwashed deplorable masses).

Biden's 2024 Campaign is based mostly on fear of Trump and Republicans.

Know what Americans fear more?  Rising costs of shelter, food, utilities/energy, etc., and providing for illegal immigrants (leads to higher local and state taxes).

Biden is wrong, wrong, wrong.  Why would the American people want to save a "democracy" that ignores the needs of its citizens?

Honestly, who would even want to visit NYC these days???
I certainly don't. There was a time I wanted to go back, see some museums, etc., but have definitely reconsidered.
NYC is like dozens of other Dem-run cities: very unsafe, overrun with illegals, dirty and unappealing.
