New Democratic Congresswoman Hangs Transgender Flag Outside Office

Democratic Virginia Rep. Jennifer Wexton placed a transgender flag outside of her office on Capitol Hill after being sworn in Thursday.
Wexton defeated two-term incumbent Republican Barbara Comstock in the November elections, and has become just the second Democrat ever to represent Virginia’s 10th district in the House of Representatives.

I don't believe that there are any regulations regarding what flags are allowed to be displayed within or outside of congressional offices. I have to think that in the past, no one ever foresaw the need for any regulations. It was reasonable to expect that the flags displayed would be limited to the US flag and the flag of the representative's home state. But I guess that "expectation" has flown out the window.

I have an idea............. they need to come up with flags for all mental illnesses.
There needs to be an Anorexic flag (another body dysmorphic disorder), a Paranoid Schizophrenic flag, a Sociopath flag, and a Psychopath flag (with a special flag for serial killers).
Then she can put any or all of them outside her office and really represent mental disorders well..... :cool:

What a mess we have made of America. To think that the sex you have makes you a class or race above others. That you should have a flag that represents sex.
We have allowed these people to sue others because they won't make cakes or participate in weddings. Its the destruction of freedom in America.

It is indeed bad enough that some random physical attribute might overshadow character in their minds, but in this case, It isn't sex they are 'celebrating', but deep seated and encouraged self-delusion and self-mutilation (even if the mutilation is performed by others).
I don't care who you are. That's just sick, and anyone who would promote such is twisted in their own right.

8 years of Obama really forwarded the Communist Manifesto. He was raised Communist. His mother was raised and schooled Communist.
But I think this is the perfect time to take a right turn away from this. I think that the election of Trump because of his immigration stance has shown that America has tired of it. I think a good Conservative has an awesome chance to reach the public with the right plan.
It is undeniable also that Europe is taking a right turn. You can only take this so far before people have had enough. In Europe even the young are turning on it. They have been pushed way farther than we have and they have had enough. Unfortunately it creates an atmosphere of lawlessness. An opportunity for groups to become radicalized. I certainly hope that is not where this is leading America. But I fear that too far will push us over the edge. We need to return to the Constitution and its original intent.

He stood on the shoulders of those who have laid the foundations for his 'advancements' since prayer was banned in public school and SCOTUS ruled on Roe v Wade. The 'progression' has been pretty much downhill from there.

I completely agree, especially about returning to original intent. I want my rights (at least the ability to exercise them without fear of prosecution) back. For the youth of today, the walls are closing in, and they often feel it.
I do think we have a rare opportunity to return to principle, but who will bear that standard in a hostile media and political environment? --especially when those who should be pushing, not only for a return to the Republic as envisioned, but the basic civility required to solve problems, instead are behaving in ways that would have been a serious embarrassment at best in the past, and career ending for politicians.
For the enemies of the Republic, they have many ways to 'win', whether it be through blood in the streets or diktats from the Legislature, either way plays into their hands. Only a civil approach, short of rapidly 'winning' armed conflict can prevail, because armed conflict will be all the excuse for an international response imposing the very global totalitarianism we seek to stymie or a military response which will effectively impose the very totalitarian order antithetic to the Constitution and Bill of Rights. But without those who claim to be 'on our side', the outlook is bleak. They (especially Congress) have squandered a fine opportunity to reverse policies which have damaged this country, and we will be fortunate to get another chance to make things right.

I suppose I need to keep in mind that much of Europe is subject to the same sorts of Mass Media 'filters' that put a lot of opinions on the cutting room floor that we have.
People are sick of being portrayed as ignorant hicks while they feed, heat/cool, and generally provide the nuts and bolts support that makes it possible for others to sit in offices in tall buildings and tell them how stupid they allegedly are.
That sort of sanctimony wears thin fast, and to compound it with the sort of nonsensical and obstructionist legislation that impoverishes people on one side of a State line while others prosper on the other side makes people take note.
People also realize that 'Social Justice' isn't justice at all, are tired of being called "racists" for just pointing out serious and obvious deficits in behaviour which seem to plague certain demographics, and, I believe, recognize the inherent social danger in letting any one group have a pass on such, as it will inevitably and despite social friction to the contrary, spread to other demographics. (A phenomenon I call the "I have equal rights, too!" behaviour observed during race riots in my youth).
Perhaps we can draw back from the abyss. I pray we can, but it will take a lot of us older folks planting the seeds of freedom and morality in our youngest generations to overcome the programming to which they have been subjected.
In that, I find the Socratic method most effective, asking them questions designed to bring them around, but they are, like all youngsters, proud and resistant--change can only come from within, as if it is their idea, not be imposed from without--which will inevitably be resisted.
I have the benefit of being able to work across five generations, from my parents who yet live, to my great grand children, being nurtured by grandchildren who, either through the examples of their peers, parents, or personal experience are finding out what works best, (just like 'Papa' and 'Grandma' told them), not necessarily as authoritarians (although that happens, of necessity, on occasion), but mainly as mentors and advisors.
Perhaps that is why The Almighty has seen fit to keep me here despite numerous fine opportunities to bring me to the Throne. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve Him in that regard.
