More girls than boys?  I am a boy, after all!  Also, just fyi, "Whitney" is a girls' name as well as a boys' name.

The apparent obsession with "Bill" is merely apparent; I was more obsessed with trying to get the graphic form the way I wanted it (I still don't like it, but I don't feel like tinkering with it any more).

I think it's a bit over the top for me.  I am a much simpler man than this font would imply.

Thanks 69FenderStrat!  That one's actually a variant on an image someone else created (I'm happy to give credit where credit is due) - I revised the ball on the ball and chain to add the Obuttocks logo (I did give that the 3-D effect).

Week 48!  Now, these will look sort of strange at first - that's because they're largely transparent and really only show up well against a dark-ish background; however, what can be amusing about them is that if you place them on top of another image, the underlying image will show through and the lettering itself will have a translucent quality to it.

Week 49!  Yes, week 49 is a close cousin of week 48.  I made week 49 as a close variation on week 48 first to fix a problem with "Thursday" (wrong coloring of the translucent bits) and second to use a brighter internal fill color that might show up better on dark backgrounds and also be a little more visible on lighter backgrounds. I used the same red (html code #660000) background for both so that a comparison could be made.

Besides which, now you only have three more sets to suffer through before this exercise is completed!  Aren't you the lucky ones!

I also got rid of that pesky white background (which was all covered in speckles from the jpeg compression - now it's a nice, clean png file).

I like it!  I know that Socialism is historically depicted in red.  But given today's debate and color convention, I thought it better with the colors reversed.

Agreed.  It might even be appropriate to use the color scheme from the DNC's new logo.

That's 100% synthetic, as in I invented the thing out of whole cloth without using a single pre-existing image as a model or background.  I call it the Metal Barnacle, for lack of anything better to call it.  CorelDRAW X5 can be a lotta fun sometimes.

Yes it is.  That movie was a mind blast when I first saw it back in undergrad.  All of the Pink Floyd albums are incredible as well.  A group like that comes around only once every couple of generations.

One of my favorite groups, have seen them twice in concert - WOW!  Actually met Richard Wright when he was checking into the same hotel we were staying at in Pittsburgh.  I think at that time he had been demoted to a staff musician & if I remember correctly, was the only band member that actually made a profit on The Wall concert tour because he was on salary.  Rest in peace, Richard. 

Yes, I know they are liberal in thought - especially Roger Waters - but the whole message in The Wall of school indoctrination and obliterating the individual is spot-on with what is going on RIGHT NOW on a global scale.  Liberals can call it pretty names and make it like it's about helping people - but it's really all about POWER.

(I really wish the folks who developed the png specification had finished up the mng specification - multiple png images, which would have allowed animations using the png format, which supports transparency, so I wouldn't have to resort to using the ancient gif format, or have to try and play around with something annoying like flash or some of the other video formats)
