A verdict…I can’t tell you what it is but I do know this: the DA, the defense lawyers and the defendant are all feeling very nervous…I know this from waiting for many verdicts…

Merchan just came back in the room to tell us that the Jury has sent him a note that THEY HAVE A VERDICT and they would like another 30 minutes to fill out the forms.

There was an audible gasp when Merchan announced that “I received a note from the jury saying that they have a verdict.

I think everyone, myself included, thought it was far more likely that the jury was asking for another instruction or even being dismissed for the day, rather than a Verdict.

The judge cannot do that. Mistrial and worse, for the judge.

Apparently the judge is doing exactly what he wants regardless.

Biden Campaign Pushes Hoax That Trump Used ‘N-Word,’ When Biden Said It at Least 15 Times

Kristina Wong 30 May 2024

The Biden campaign is pushing a decade-old allegation that former President Donald Trump used the “N-word” on tape during filming for The Apprentice, while ignoring that President Joe Biden actually used the word during Senate hearings 15 times.

Bill Pruitt, a former show producer, published an essay for the far-left news and commentary website Slate on Thursday regurgitating his accusation that Trump used the “N-word” while discussing one of the show’s contestants, but admitted that his recollection of quotes were “not verbatim” and that the alleged tapes would “never be found.”

Nonetheless, the Biden-Harris campaign — which is increasingly becoming desperate as national polls show Trump ahead in swing states — sent out an email highlighting Pruitt’s piece, calling it a “bombshell report.”

The allegation that Trump said the “N-word,” however, contrasts with actual evidence that Biden used the word at least 15 times during official hearings in the past.

As reported by Breitbart News, when Biden was a senator, he used the N-word 13 times during a series of hearings in 1985 to consider a Reagan appointee, according to Senate transcripts.

Biden was questioning nominee William Reynolds on a redistricting plan he approved that included a racist quote from then-Rep. Charles Emile Bruneau (R), who had used the N-word twice. Biden repeatedly brought up Bruneau’s quote, however, using the N-word during the hearing 13 times.

Biden campaign scolds MSNBC, CNN for covering Trump trial over 'Black Voters for Biden-Harris' rally
A campaign spokesperson complained about coverage for 'a trial that impacts one person: Trump'

President Biden's re-election campaign scolded MSNBC and CNN on Wednesday for ignoring a "Black Voters for Biden-Harris" rally in Philadelphia because they were too busy covering the historic New York v. Trump trial.

During a rally that occurred during the first day of jury deliberations in former President Trump's New York criminal trial, Biden promised to nominate progressives to the Supreme Court if he wins a second term. While Trump's historic trial has dominated the news cycle for weeks, at least one Biden campaign staffer felt MSNBC and CNN should have cut away to show the current president’s remarks.

"The President just spoke to approx 1,000 mostly Black voters in Philly about the massive stakes in this election. @MSNBC @CNN & others did not show it. Instead, more coverage about a trial that impacts one person: Trump," Biden campaign spokesperson TJ Ducklo posted on X.

Ducklo added, "Then they'll ask, why isn't your message getting out?"
