I do a good job typically of securing articles and tech papers around the enviro-scam, but one that I have sadly lost is the one where it was shown and proven, that when you take every facet of the "btu" in the process of making and using energy, that absolutely none of the green alternatives have more efficency than traditonal fossil fuels, and nuclear.

I still look for it occasionally, and it was written in the 2013-2015 timeframe, and academia based.   If anyone else is interested.

FACT! It takes 1.4 units of energy to produce 1 unit of energy from corn-based ethanol when ALL inputs are considered.

And that's our ticket to energy independence!  ROFLMAO!!!

All live weapon training for the Army's Special Forces units, and most of the elements that support them, will be shut down for much of this week due to a safety stand-down -- after a soldier was accidentally shot during a training event, the service confirmed to Military.com.

A 7th Infantry Division soldier at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington state was accidentally shot April 25 by another soldier with an M249 Squad Automatic Weapon, or SAW, light machine gun, according to one source with direct knowledge of the situation. The injured soldier was in stable condition and recovering at Madigan Army Medical Center.

Starting Tuesday, all Special Forces, civil affairs and psychological operations units will have a three-day safety stand-down. The pause includes all scheduled live weapons training being canceled, according to Maj. Russell Gordon, a spokesperson for 1st Special Forces Command. It was unclear which unit the shooter is assigned to. The base is home to the 1st Special Forces Group.

Daniels testifies that Trump told her not to 'worry' about his wife Melania,'We don't even sleep in the same room'
By Ben Kochman and Kyle Schnitzer

Trump told Daniels during the 2006 meeting not to "worry" about his wife Melania, who he'd married a year earlier — because he did not even sleep in the same room as her, Daniels testified.

“He showed me a few pictures and things, and I said 'Oh, what about your wife," Daniels told jurors.

"He said, 'Don’t worry about that, we don’t even sleep in the same room." Daniels continued.

Trump sat silently at the defense table during this testimony and had no noticeable reaction.

Stormy Daniels: I spanked Trump with a magazine

Stormy Daniels testified that she spanked Donald Trump with a rolled up magazine that donned his face on the cover.

"At this point I’d pretty much had enough of his arrogance," Daniels said about her night with Trump.

She said she was acting "pretty nasty" before she "snapped."

"I said, 'Someone should spank you with that."

Daniels then added, "I took it and turned him around and swatted him."

How Ridiculous? Blade-Less Swiss Army Knife Debuts As Weapon Laws Tighten

Zero Hedge by Tyler Durden 5/6/2024

n a world that is fracturing into a multipolar state, with risks of world war erupting in either Eastern Europe or the Middle East, continued threats of conflict in the Pacific, and the migrant invasion across Western countries, the company behind the iconic half-century-old fold-up tool, the Swiss Army Knife, will soon debut a blade-less version because of regulations.

Victorinox Chief Executive Officer Carl Eisner told Swiss paper Blick on Monday that its Swiss Army Knife will soon be available without a blade due to mounting regulations in European and Asian countries amid a surge in violence.

"We are concerned about the increasing regulation of knives due to the violence in the world," Elsener said, citing new laws in the UK and Asian countries that only permit knife-carrying for work or outdoor activities.

Eisner said, "In some markets, the blade creates an image of a weapon."

Victorinox told Bloomberg, "The increasing regulation of knives in various countries represents a major challenge for the company."

Who is Stormy Daniels?
By Priscilla DeGregory

Stormy Daniels -- whose real name is Stephanie Clifford -- is an adult film actress who got into the business when she was just 23, she testified Tuesday.

Daniels, 45, -- who has had a long-time career in the porn business -- has also made appearances in popular mainstream films like "40-Year-Old Virgin," "Superbad" and "Knocked up," she told jurors.

She first got into exotic dancing in Louisiana at 21 when a friend invited her to watch her dance, and Stormy, believing she meant ballet dancing or something similar, attended only to discover the pal was an exotic dancer.

Daniels then moved to Los Angeles to make porn films in which she acted, directed and wrote, according to CNN. She was inducted into the Adult video News Hall of Fame in 2014, the outlet reported.

Daniels is a key witness against Donald Trump as she claims the former prez had her paid off with $130,000 to keep her from going public in the run-up to the 2016 election about her claims she had a one-night stand with a married Trump in 2006.

Daniels says publicist urged her to meet Trump: 'Make a great story'
By Kyle Schnitzer

Stormy Daniels testified that her publish urged her to skip a dinner with colleagues to meet Donald Trump because it would "make a great story."

“I was scheduled to go to dinner with everyone from the company that I worked for and I didn’t want to go to," Daniels testified, before admitting that her publicist pushed her to meet Trump because it could be "amazing."

“What better excuse would you have to get out of this dinner than to have dinner with Donald Trump,” Daniels said, recalling the conversation with her publicist.

She then said that she was told it would "make a great story."

Daniels then ended the speech with a funny one liner, "What could possibly go wrong?"

The meeting was set after Daniels met Trump's security guard, Keith Schiller, earlier in the day.

"Stormy Daniels is apparently making scripted jokes in the courtroom to win over the jury and nobody is laughing. She's hurting the prosecution's case by showing the jury how much of an attention seeker she is. This is hilarious" (Video)°

I said it is in the early development phase. No one is installing them yet. Nearly every new invention or progress starts with very small steps.
Do you have it next to that file with the water fueled engine?   :silly:
