The person of interest who police suspect stabbed and consequently killed poet and far-left activist Ryan Carson has a history of violence and works at a high school, according to recent reports.
Police reported that the suspect works at a high school in Clinton Hill, and that 911 had been called by his aunt after he had become furious and smashed up items in his girlfriend's apartment just a few months ago. His aunt was said to have described him as mentally disturbed.

On Thursday, the man suspected of brutally murdering 32-year-old Brooklyn activist Ryan Carson was apprehended by police and taken into custody.
Brian Dowling, 18, allegedly stabbed Carson to death while he and his girlfriend were waiting for the bus.
According to the New York Post, after Dowling was named as a suspect, police executed a search warrant at a home on Lafayette Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard, near where the beloved activist was killed.
When authorities arrived, they discovered Dowling in the home wearing the same clothing as the man in footage of the incident. They also recovered a knife, though it has not been determined whether it was the murder weapon.
Dowling has a history of violence, including one instance where his own aunt called 911 on him after he went on a rampage and smashed up the belongings in his girlfriend's apartment in July. While he was ultimately not arrested, an incident report was filed.
Carson was a passionate defender of his values and worked tirelessly to advocate for a number of causes, including safe injection sites. To make his point, he once walked from New York City to Buffalo, stopping in Albany to scold the governor to failing to live up to his promises.

The 18-year-old man suspected in the grisly random stabbing death of a beloved Brooklyn social justice activist was arrested and charged Thursday as authorities recovered a knife and the sweatshirt the perp is believed to have worn during the early-morning slaying, cops said.
The person of interest, identified as Brian Dowling, was pictured with tears running down his face as officers escorted him from the 81st Precinct Thursday afternoon.
The teen – who had handcuffs around his wrists and ankles – was still wearing the same white t-shirt and stripped shorts he had a few hours earlier, when the was arrested while cops executed a search warrant at a home on Lafayette Avenue near Malcolm X Boulevard — just down the block from where Ryan Carson, 32, was knifed to death early Monday as his girlfriend watched.
Dowling is charged with second-degree murder and criminal weapons possession, police confirmed.
Dowling did not make any statements to cops after his arrest, and has already enlisted a lawyer, sources said.
Cops were searching for clothing allegedly worn by the suspect during the caught-on-camera attack — and found both Dowling and his dark Champion sweatshirt, seen in the video of the attack, inside the apartment, the sources said.

Recently, two high-profile supporters of “justice reform” were murdered.
At 4 a.m. on Monday, Ryan Carson, a 32-year-old social justice and climate change activist, was walking with his girlfriend in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, when he was stabbed to death by a stranger. Only a few hours earlier in Philadelphia, activist and journalist Josh Kruger was shot and killed in his home.
And two Democratic lawmakers who voted to “redirect funding to community-based policing reforms” have been recent victims of violent crime.
On Monday night, blocks away from the Capitol in Washington, D.C., Congressman Henry Cuellar was carjacked by three armed men. (The lawmaker survived the incident unscathed.) In February, Angie Craig was attacked in an elevator at her apartment building in Capitol Hill. A homeless man demanded she allow him into her home to use the restroom, then he punched her and grabbed her around the neck. She escaped after throwing hot coffee on him.
Of course, these people did not deserve harm because of their support for soft-on-crime policies. But I’ve long argued that many people who hold “luxury beliefs”—ideas and opinions that confer status on the upper class, while often inflicting costs on the lower classes—are oblivious to the consequences of their views. Support for defunding the police is a classic example.
Luxury beliefs can stem from malice, good intentions, or outright naivete. ...

When I first read about Carson's death the article was full of stories by his friends about what a wonderful, warm-hearted person he was.
Then it has emerged (thanks to Andy Ngo) what an absolute leftist jerk he was who hated the police and as a supporter of BLM and Antifa wanted to destroy traditional America.
So, we're supposed to feel sorry that he got knifed to death by the same people he thought were being victimized?
One poster on X wrote that maybe Carson had ten seconds to understand how wrong he'd been about his politics and social beliefs.
Too late.
So, do I feel sorry for the guy? Well, as rotten a person as he was, he didn't deserve to be knifed to death.
But sometimes I do wonder if there is such a thing as Karma.

As one poster suggested earlier, the poor child that is being portrayed as unstable, sure knew to hire a lawyer and turn himself in. The tears are of the crocodile nature, because he was IDed and arrested on camera... 2nd degree murder, no, he was just killer looking for someone to lash out at that didn't know how to fight back.
I wonder if leftist understand just how vulnerable they truly are due to their own doing (punishing defenseless victims over criminals).

I wasn't going to mention it until I saw Judge Janine mention it on The 5.....why didn't the girlfriend do anything...she could have screamed, hit the attacker with her purse so maybe Ryan could better defend himself...all she did was move along on the sidewalk.... 9999hair out0000
