Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis followed through on his promise to drop off illegal immigrants in progressive states, sending two planes full of migrants to Martha’s Vineyard on Wednesday.
A video provided to Fox News Digital shows the migrants deboarding the planes at Martha’s Vineyard Airport in Massachusetts.
"Yes, Florida can confirm the two planes with illegal immigrants that arrived in Martha’s Vineyard today were part of the state’s relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations," the governor’s communications director, Taryn Fenske, told Fox News Digital.

DeSantis did good here .... it just isn't worthy of the "ballsy republican" award when all summer two other republican governors have been "transporting" illegals from their respective states.

I do believe this was his gutsiest move. It’s one thing to send the illegals to NYC and Chicago. Quite another to send them to one of the bougiest places in the country. I mean, are ordinary people even allowed on Martha’s Vineyard?!

Baker Administration 'exploring' moving migrants from Martha's Vineyard to Joint Base Cape Cod

TISBURY, Mass. —
Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker said his administration is "exploring" another move for dozens of migrants who arrived on Martha's Vineyard Wednesday aboard charter flights linked to Florida's state government.
"The Baker-Polito Administration is exploring setting up temporary shelter and humanitarian services at Joint Base Cape Cod and will share additional information as soon as it becomes available," Baker said in a written statement issued Thursday.

The group of approximately 50 Venezuelan migrants, some of them children, arrived aboard charter flights on Wednesday evening. They were brought to Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School, where they were given snacks and shelter.
Local officials declared it to be a disgusting political stunt. They'll be happy to provide assistance to the newly arrived persons.
There needs to be a deluge of incoming illegal migrants to overwhelm l NGO's, local governments, and state government. Then, they'll clamor for relief from the Federal government.
What happened on Martha's Vineyard happens everyday across towns and cities along the border with Mexico. Those municipalities incur the cost of the Federal Government not fulfilling its duty to secure the border.
DeSantis and Abbott, keep up the good work.
At the rate things area going unfortunately it looks like Trump is going to be indicted. The GOP better have some candidates lined up for '24.

I grew up in Houston and I think part of the problem is that the Northern Democrat states didn’t have to deal with the consequences of illegal aliens. It was the border states problem. It was our property taxes paying for illegals to go to our overcrowded schools. It was our hospital emergency rooms and free clinics running in the red with cases from illegals who had no insurance. It was our soup kitchens and homeless shelters running out of room. It was our police departments overwhelmed by the increase in crimes. It was our citizens being murdered and raped. It didn’t affect them. It was our problem.
